Flimsy wire and lacking sound quality.
These are only £30 headphones, so expectations shouldn’t be that high.However. With a braided wire there should be the expectation at the very least, for durability above all else. Especially when it’s as long as it is.This is not the case with these.After only 2 months of simply picking up and wearing them putting back down on a desk the wire is already at the point where it needs certain angles to have sound in both ears. It has only been connected to a controller throughout this time.It isn’t in a typical weak point either. It’s not at the connection nor is it the end where it goes into the headphones, it’s in the middle of the wire.As for the sound quality, it lacks depth and is excessive in regards to the bass. Music will be loud and heavy, gunshots will be felt, but there is no depth. Subtle sounds cannot be heard, even sub £10 can have footsteps echo, these can’t.The bass is painfully high, even running these at minimal volume with a controller that allows precise sound control these aren’t pleasant for extended use.£30 headphones of course, but it really seems like the money is better spent on more expensive in the hopes of quality or cheaper simply for better longevity.The mic however is very good, no complaints in regards to it.
