A decent alternative to a mini tripod
This is a very solid mechanism for holding a camera in an indoors environment. Ideal for a desk setup where its being used for conferencing, web broadcasts etc. It can be lengthened if needed by the internal telescopic pole. The ball head joint with the 1/4″ thread is a very useful addition and helps in quick fixing of cameras. On a negative point I’m not entirely sure why the base plate does not have the connection to the pole in the centre, instead it is on one side of the base plate. This results in it being somewhat more unstable in the direction of the pole connection. It still works but not optimally, and I would not want to place it in a windy area with a large camera attached. In summary useful in an indoor controlled environment and takes up less room than a tripod.

More uses than expected.
A nice and sturdy phone/webcam holder that is aimed more at users of video calling/streamers than a typical phone holder. The stand is well-built and once assembled it feels pretty sturdy, the upright pole is set to the rear of the baseplate rather than the centre, and I’m guessing this is to counter the weight of your phone/camera if they are front heavy, but it could also be for when you have it behind your monitor as it will sit slightly better. The pole is extendable and offers an impressive range of height and locks in place easily with the twist lock neck, the phone holder adjusts to fit even my widest phone, but it does lack depth so removing the phone case is required, if you have a webcam/camera with a mounting hole in the bottom you can mount it directly to the stand which is a nice touch.A different take on the tripod that has the possibility to take up less room on your desk but also has so many other uses, we have for example been using it in the kitchen window whilst washing to the pots so we can watch videos.
