Tips for when installing these to avoid the connection issues:Tip 1, once one light is installed and connected to the cloud app, physically remove it from the socket before you try to connect another bulb, when you re connect the bulb it will automatically re connect to the app.Tip 2, dont underestimate AP Mode, it’s a god send, I would go straight to this mode to connect any smart lighting as it always works, when it’s asking you to switch the lights off with 1-2 second gap this means flick it off and flick it back on straight away, allow for 1-5 seconds after this for the lights to start blinking, it doesn’t happen straight away, same for the slow flashing mode, allow for time after the switch exercise, once blinking slowly it’s in AP Mode and you connect your phone to the WiFi hotspot of the bulb, once connected your phone will transfer the home WiFi settings across to the bulb and add it to the cloud app, once this is done the hotspot will go off and the bulb will stop blinking, done. Remember if this was your first of many bulbs going in to the same room where they all use the same switch, physically remove the bulb you’ve just added if not you might disconnect this one when trying to add the next bulb.Tip 3, not for connecting but once you’ve got all of your bulbs added make sure you add them all to the same group in the app so you can control them all at the same time, really easy to configure.As for the actual product, they are great, super bright and have two colours one very warm and one very cool (white to blue) with about 16000 other combinations of hue between these, they dim real low to the point it’s only enough light for ambiance and can go as bright as a ceiling light, no flicking, app is easy to use and has lots of features for groups and rooms, sequences and auto timers. Linking to Alexa is done through the app it’s self, not tricky at all just follow the instructions that come up on screen and make sure apps have have the correct permission, like microphone access.

Easy to install but there is no guaranty when you buy a number some will connect to Alexa therefore the Redon for my returning some also when a power failure occurs some fail to reconnect and will have to be replaced

Don’t waste your time if you think these will connect to your wifi easily ….if at all.
I was initially quite excited when purchasing these and felt they represented good value against the Philips hue equivalent. However, upon receiving and trying to install my excitement was short lived and turned to considerable frustration. I installed the app and followed the instructions. Your required to set the lights so that they are flashing to indicate they are ready for connection with your wifi. On the app you follow steps 1 – 5 taking you from one stage to another as you confirm each stage you complete in the set up. Completed stage 4 and despite being prompted to advance to stage 5 the app simply would not move to the final stage. Tried this several times with the same result. Then I asked Alexa to search for devices whilst the light were in pairing stage. Tried this at least 5 times with the same result advising that Alexa could not find any devices. I spent at least 40 minutes trying every possible option to get these lights to connect to my wifi. Contacted Amazon for assistance over the phone and the representative made every effort to assist (great service by the way) but nothing seemed to work. By this time I had considered why on earth I ever bothered and Asked the Amazon rep about the refund process to which she was once more amazingly helpful and totally apologetic. Poor girl, it was not her fault and how I wish she could have got me up and running. Anyhow, I somewhat painfully put my old lights back in wishing I never bothered. I might very well have another try and purchase the Philips lights. I have 2 screw in bulbs already and they have worked flawlessly from the very beginning and took only a minute or two to set up. I should have taken notice from this experience. However because these lights were recommended by Amazon I thought they would be fine. Clearly, I thought wrong. From my own experience I would say spend a few more pounds and get the real deal. These are just not worth the hassle and the app seems to be as flawed as the hardware.

Finalmente anche io ho luci smart da poter comandare tramite google home. L’installazione software non è delle più intuitive, le istruzioni incluse nei faretti sono molto generiche e bisogna andare ad intuito all’interno dell’app google home per fargliele riconoscere. Dopo ciò però funziona tutto molto bene anche se google è spesso molto lento nell’eseguire i comandi vocali ma quello non è un problema delle lampadine. Inizialmente non riconosceva un faretto ma dopo varie accensioni e spegnimenti si è risolto il problema. Ottima la possibilità di impostare qualsiasi percentuale di intensità luminosa anche singolarmente per ogni faretto e che questa rimanga tale quando si spegne e poi riaccende la luce. Se rinominate i singoli faretti li potete gestire individualmente (io li ho rinominati da 1 a 6 avendo un lampadario con 6 fari) e accenderne quanti ne volete, nell’intensità che desiderate.Ottimo acquisto

Die Lampe ist nicht größer als die Standardlampen und dürfte deswegen in jegliche Fassung passen.Sie ist kürzer als die Hue Lampen, das ist super. Man kann Sie direkt im WLan einrichten. Achtung: ein mobiler WLAN Router ist dazu nicht ausreichend, in meinem Fall hat es dann aber über die Fritzbox sofort funktioniert. Bei Android muss man sich lediglich die App aus dem Appstore laden. In meinem Fall hat dies mit dem Samsung S8+ gut funktioniert.Um die Lampe in den Koppelmodus zu versetzen muss man dann 4-5x kurz hintereinander die Stromversorgung trennen und wieder herstellen, bis die Lampen zu blinken anfangen. Das hat nicht auf Anhieb funktioniert, sondern erst im dritten Anlauf, aber OK es hat doch noch funktioniert. Die Lampen wurden zwar einzeln erkannt, ich habe aber zwei in einer Lampe, das hat etwas gedauert. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind dafür super. Man kann die Lichtfarbe von weissgelb auf weissbläulich stufenlos regulieren. Auch die Intensität ist von 0-100% einstellbar. klasse! Was mir am besten gefällt ist, dass man die einmal eingesellte Konfiguration dann über einen Zeitplan einmalig, täglich oder wöchentlich zu einer bestimmten Uhrzeit schalten kann. In meinem Fall wird die Lampe in den Aussenbereich kommen. Wäre schön, wenn sie irgendwann noch mit der Dämmerung am Standort automatisch geschalten werden könnte. das ist aktuell nicht der Fall aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Nach einem simulierten Stromausfall muss man die Lampe einmal kurz über die App anwählen und manuell ausschalten. Die Einstellungen hat es sich aber gemerkt.
