Worked perfectly.
Bought as a replacement for a BT Router that was zapped in a storm.Everything thatâs could be needed was in the box and was very easy to set up and worked perfectly. Also worked with an EE broadband connection that had suffered a similar problem.Very happy with my purchase and would recommend.

I bought this for my sister and no way can we get it to connect to the internet
This is a BT ROUTER, we have tried for 3days and all the lights flash except the BLUE one. They have BT wiring and it should start easy. I think itâs better if I send it all back .

Easiest Configuration ever
Bought this as a bit of a gamble (details provided very skimpy, and bluetooth??) relying on question answers.Arrived early afternoon, very quick, packaging sound – BT Business Smarthub 6. Opened up, turned Router over and relaxed – FTTC & FTTP sockets; the latter pinches one of the usual 4 ethernet ports.Plugged the power lead in and switched on; nice green light which turned flashing red after a short period; I then plugged my PC Internet cable into one of its Internet ports, opened a browser and typed 192.168.1.254; after a moment the configuration user interface opened; turned off Smart Set Up; changed the DSL login name and password to my Plusnet values; changed the Wi-Fi key and password to those of the old router values. REMEMBER to do saves as you navigate – it does actually prompt you when necessary. Closed browser window and switched off the BT Business Router.A couple of points. You will need to go through Advanced settings which requires the Admin Password found on a slide-in panel on the back of the router. You must change the Broadband Username and Password to your Plusnet account values. Finally, unplugged DSL Cable from the old Router plugged it into the new BT Business Router. Switched it on. Sat back for two or three minutes until blue lights appeared – browsed the Internet a bit to check. Moved remaining ethernet socket cables (access to all my devices) from the old router to new router and checked everything was working – simple.

A very good router.
I replaced my old Plusnet router with this BT Smart Hub 6. Based on past dealings with BT, I tend to steer clear of BT products, however, this one was recommended by a Plusnet engineer. I am very impressed. It is quicker than my old one, provides better coverage and seems to be very stable.
