Ring was a replacement unit, fixing holes do not line up. Poorly thought out installation.
The ring is very good, but as a replacement, why are the holes in a different place?I had to drill new ones, do they not expect us to buy a second one when the original one fails?No instructions or a guide on how to replace this on an existing door bell account either.As for the quick sticky back installation? Obviously not suitable for brick, stone or any ourside building material, so what is the point of that? I had to drill correct screw posiion holes.Poorly thought out.The Camera picture is better, longer and more sensitive as expected.Alexa Speaker, very good , better than the simple black round ones, now my wife uses it every morning to listen to Smooth radio live, the sound quality is brilliant.Simple to add to the Alexa system on an iPad and two iPhones, they could teach the Ring team a thing or three.

Fantastic security camera easy to set up and install. I got this for my protection from my neighbours from literally hell. Who sit in the stairwell for 14 hours a day driving smoking doing drugs. I live in a nice neighbourhood just the neighbours. So I am always to keep an eye on them especially if I am going out and trying to come home so records the mental emotional and physical abuse I get from them. It also keeps my parcels safe as they have stolen some before. victim support recommended the ring doorbell and camera I love them all I feel a lot more secure in my home.
