Was happy with the size and quality, fits everything in it that I need for work. –
Lovely camera
Still getting used to the camera but so far I have no issues, yes it is a big camera but it is not as heavy as I thought it would be. A sturdy tripod is required when using the zoom at full length.

I bought this camera for an upcoming trip that I am limited on weight and cannot bring my usual camera/lenses. I wanted a super zoom lens so I donât have to get too close to the wildlife I want to film. The pictures I took to test out the camera are all from my yard. The birds pictures were taken across the yard on âbird modeâ without a tripod. The moon pictures were taken with a tripod on âmoon modeâ. The pictures turned out very clear. I was amazed how easy it was to get the amazing shots of the moon. The only con I can think of is the camera is a little awkward due to the size. My advice if buying the camera be sure to buy a memory card, battery charger, and cable to to tranfer photos to phone, ipad, etc. at the time of of purchase so you can begin taking pictures asap!!!

I got this Nikon COOLPIX P1100 after using a small Sony compact camera for years. I have to say I absolutely love this P1100. I’m not a professional photographer by any means but this Nikon has really made me enjoy taking photos even more. I do have to say a proper study tripod and a wireless remote are pretty much a must have for this camera due to its size and weight. Keep in mind when this camera is zoomed out at its max 125x even the gentlest of touch to the zoom in/out physical controls will register as vibrations if you’re recording a video; so for this reason a wireless remote is a must have.

This camera is ideal for wildlife photography because of its insane zoom capabilities, plus it’s lighter and a lot more compact than lugging around a 3-foot-long lens. It shoots sharp pics even freehand at full zoom. My only complaint is the power button. It’s nearly impossible to turn the camera on while wearing gloves. I may glue a small button on top to make it easier to use when it’s cold. Nikon might want to take note for future designs of this camera.
