Worth the money and serves itâs purpose
I recently purchased this small adjustable tablet stand, and overall, it has been a great addition to my setup. OK for phones, less so for tablets
Generally this is a nice little folding stand, cheap and functional. But mostly fails for use with a bigger tablet. The arm that holds the back of the tablet and sets the viewing angle is simply too easy to move and will not hold the table up. This is with both the hinge in the middle of the arm which is way too easy to move as well as the base hinge which is stiffer but also gives too easily. I fused the middle hinge hoping this would make it usable but I only have to touch the screen a bit too hard for the whole thing to collapse backwards.

It’s a stand. It works. But the hinge isnt strong. Certain ways you position it, you might think will hold, won’t.Make sure you test that out first.

Needs a slight redesign for the larger tablets
I have a 12 inch tablet that I read comics on, etc, so it’s a big heavy form factor, especially in portrait mode.I found that the tablet could slip out relatively easily when tapping on the screen or typing, so I added some Sugru lugs to keep the tablet lower edge in place. This now works well and was easy to do – screw a small screw into the plastic so that the Sugru had something to grip onto and then just shape the Sugru.End result is a product that will now easily support a 12 inch tablet in portrait mode.
