Excellent comfortable earphones from Avantree
Excellent wired earphones. Also very good support from Avantree. The left ‘bud’ was not working. I messaged Avantree and Riza suggested trying the earphones in another device. I’m an auld wifie and didn’t think I had one. Riza immediately offered to send a replacement. I said I’d lost confidence in the product and Riza said I should contact Amazon for a refund. I then realised the earphones could be used with my radio and…. they worked perfectly. Great earphones and excellent customer support from Avantree.

Decent earphones, dont fall off my ears
First pair of earphones ive ever owned that i could actually shake my head around and not have them fall off, if i were the type to run i would use these. The only issue is that i dont trust the clip that attaches to your shirt since it can only be on the thin wire after the split to one of the earphones and i worry it might cause damage over time. Not tested and i dont want to. Audio quality is fine, im no audiophile so i cant say much more than that. nice volume control buttons and a central button for pausing, playing, skipping, answering calls ect. Not tested the microphone and based off the other reviews i dont expect it to be good but i bought these to listen to music while walking around so i dont care about the microphoneOverall pretty decent earphones, nothing bad to say about them at all but nothing all that incredible

I have these just for backup when my wireless ones need charging. They are not perfect for me and donât stay in my ears very well, but they are well made and good quality. Iâve had them a while and they still working well for the priceThe cable gets a bit tangled and thatâs even with the little clip.Sound quality in terms of picking up calls is good. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am updating this review that I had initially submitted. Approximately 8 months after I bought these (Sep. 2023), the right earbud stopped working all the sudden. I could jiggle and hold the volume control and the sound would come back, but that was not an option. Therefore, I contacted Avantree Support and let them know what happened. They responded by email within 24 hours (other responses for the Support Incident were even quicker than that), and indicated they would send me a new set at no charge as they were still under warranty and provided clear instructions on how to order the new ones. The new ones arrived yesterday, 05/28/24 and they work like a charm.I am still very satisfied with the earbuds, and the professional customer service provided by Avantree. I still feel these are a very good value for the price, given the way they handled replacing the original defective set.ORIGINAL: I have had these Avantree E171 – Sports Earbuds Wired with Microphone for about 3 weeks now and I mainly use these on the treadmill when I run. I have found these to be more than adequate for that purpose. I previously bought Koss $6 headphones for the same purpose but I found those didn’t last long enough before one of the earpieces would just go dead.With the Avantree, I can see that for the price, they are a little better made and the wiring is a little stronger. They don’t seem flimsy at all, and the earbuds themselves and the portion that fits on your ears seem to be sturdy. They fit on my ears nicely enough with the loops and they do not bother me with or without glasses. They come with the middle size eartips attached, but I did find that when I run on the treadmill, they seemed to jump around a little, so I put on the larger ones. (The earbuds come with 3 sizes of eartips).The eartips are a little hard to get off and get the new ones on but you just need to grab the main part of the earbud and grab the base of the eartip and twist and pull a little to take it off, then work the new one on to the stem by working the opening of the eartip on the stem and pushing down and twisting a little. I have dexterity issues with my hands and I still got them on and off in about a minute.As far as the sound, these are not bass heavy at all, but that is fine (especially for the price) as the music I listen to doesn’t have much bass (such as with rap and some rock), but I found there is enough bass where needed, and they provide a nice rich, melodic sound without being “tinny” at all.In addition, although they do not have built-in noise cancelling functionality, I find that with the larger eartips when I am on the treadmill in our community fitness room, I do not hear the lady that babbles on loudly and continuously :). Thank You Avantree!I have not tried these with a cell phone, so I can’t speak to using with that. But, I have tried these on an iPod shuffle, an iPod touch and an iPad. The product listing here under “Before You Buy, Please Note That…” notes:”The built-in volume control does not work on PC, laptop, or iOS MP3 players, and the volume up button does not work on the Pixel 3A and Galaxy A9, S10, and Note 9 (it’ll activate Google Assistant instead).”I will verify the in-cord volume control and the pause button does not work on the iPod shuffle, but I found they DO work on the iPod Touch and my iPad. Seems to be a bit of a bonus.Overall, I think they are worth the price and provide a set of nice sounding wired earbuds.
