Works fine with an old dvd to a new tv
New tv, no scart. The old dvd player had scart and cvbs (rca phono) outputs.Using this and remembering to select the correct input on the tv, as of course the tv won’t autoswitch with this, no problems at all. Good picture quality and reasonable stero sound.

Thin metal contacts
The cable worked fine but is made of very thin material which distorted easily, fortunately due to its thin metal contacts i was able to reshape the connections enough to be able to use.

Disappointingly poor quality
This is supposed to be a premium product but it is very poorly manufactured. The outer metal part of the connector is wafer thin and very easy to break, and the plugs themselves are loose and fall out of the sockets with the slightest pull on the cable. Also it is nowhere near the 1.5 metres advertised. Mine measured just over 1 metre in length. Not impressed.
