Great little camera ð
Great little camera. Fully waterproof, good pictures underwater and easy to see screen when taking pictures. Good for selfies too as again, you can the reverse screen so you know what youâre getting. Couldnât be happier with the purchase ðð Photos show taking normal, selfie, underwater (which in the starfish one was pretty murky too).

Perfect for me
Easy to use, and the photos are really good. At least if you allow for my amateur skills! Bought this to use in Maldives and have clear photos of coral, turtles, rays and so many different fish. Very happy.

Uacceptable image quality
Although the camera is easy to handle and use, there are many issues with it, as listed below:1) The description of the camera on Amazon is misleading â it is NOT a 48MP camera â the CMOS Sensor is only 13.0MP. To achieve the maximum 48MP images resolution available, the camera must be using âupsamplingâ or âpixel binningâ.2) The quality of the vast majority of the 30 photos I have taken since I received the camera yesterday is VERY poor. It should be noted that:a) None of these photos were taken underwater â I would expect even worse quality if they had been.b) They were taken in varying lighting conditions, namely daylight, low light & artificial (the latter two with & without flash).c) I used different images sizes, namely 1M, 7MHD, 8M, 12M & 48M.d) I used different focal lengths, from wide angle, but not even up to maximum zoom.e) I used with & without the Anti-shake setting.f) I used Fast Focus & Capture Focus settings.3) Funnily enough, the only 2 images that are well defined are âselfiesâ. However, that is not the purpose for which I bought the camera.4) The battery life (between charges) appears to be quite short.5) The date/time setting is reset whenever the battery is removed from the camera.Please note that I am a seasoned amateur photographer (with 60+ yearsâ experience) and own 3 good DSLRs, but I was not expecting the results from the Yeein camera to be anywhere near the quality I get from those cameras. However, the results I got are totally unacceptable and I consider the camera to be unfit for purpose.

A great little ccamera for days out
A very nice little camera great for days out with the family. Photo quality is surprisingly good too.Light weight and well built, the front facing screen makes it easy to take selfies and group shots and the battery life is pretty good too.
