Auto zoom and track canât be switched off
Great camera and tracking and zoom is good when you want it. The camera will start with wide vision and zoom in, so your whole surroundings will be seen. You can turn automation off, but if you gesticulate it will often see the turn on instructions and zoom and track without you realising. If you want to give it instructions you have to make hand gestures to your audience.

This camera might not be as great as some of the alternatives, but it’s also substantially cheaper than those, and it serves our intended purpose. We use it to track our toddler during video calls with family so she can stay in frame while playing around the living room. It works well and has pretty decent video quality. The tracking is essentially 180 degrees. It is slightly disappointing that you can’t remove the brand watermark from the picture, and the camera does sometimes get confused and switches tracking subject, though that might be because we’re doing the hand gestures on behalf of our toddler to trick the camera.Overall, this camera is an excellent value for a tracking camera at nearly half the price of competitors. I probably wouldn’t recommend it in a professional context, but for personal video calls with family, it’s more than enough.

After intensive use for meetings. I have to say, that I really like this camera and the tracking function. Even that the angel of the vertical movement is low and microphone is almost useless.

Updated: After reaching out to the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement that has since worked mostly as expected. It is particularly sensitive to the USB cable used and length of the cable which knocks off a star. Otherwise impressed with the vendors willingness to make things right.I play tabletop RPGs and occasionally there will be one or two people that have to be remote. I bought this so that they could more easily keep track of things without having to adjust the camera. The first time I used it it connected and worked great. There were a few things that didn’t quite do what I had hoped but I was also hoping that with more experimentation it would work better. Unfortunately, due to some other circumstances it was several weeks before I had the chance to use it again as I had several remote fully remote games and a few non-remote games. When I went to use it again, it no longer functions. I’ve tried multiple USB cables and the camera simply doesn’t work. On the computer side. There is no response as though I have not plugged in anything. This is pretty disappointing and unfortunately I’m outside the return window. I would recommend avoiding this.
