Decent wired open-ear headphones
These over-ear headphones come in a zip-up case. Build quality is fairly solid. The sound quality with these is comparable to other open-ear headphones I have used, so as far as basic performance goes they are fine. They can’t compete with closed-ear headphones but are much better than some of my cheaper in-ear headphones. The open-ear design naturally does lead to sound leakage significantly increasing with volume. However, the volume goes more than loud enough for me so I have no complaints especially as the whole point of using these is to also be able to hear your surroundings. The controls are on the wire which I much prefer to touch controls. The headphones connect via USB-C so there is no messing around with Bluetooth, but you’re also out of luck if all you have is a 3.5mm headphone socket. While I don’t mind that I can’t use them with some of my mp3 players, my main issue with these headphones is that I don’t find them quite as comfortable as I would like, it’s hard to get the fit right, especially with my glasses on top. The headphones do stay in place though, and are much more stable than in-ear headphones.I like open-ear headphones as they allow me to hear traffic, conversation and announcements when I’m out and about. As open ear designs go I prefer my bone conduction headphones but the wired connection these have is superior to laggy Bluetooth. That makes them ideal to use with my phone when I am watching video content on the train, so overall I am very happy with these headphones.

Comfortable and sounds good
I really like these earphones. The kit consists of the open ear earphones and a case for storage.Using the earphones is straightforward. They connect to a USB A port and are plug and play. The earphones are open ear, so in essence are designed to sit on the ears rather than in them or over them. The open design allows outside sounds to come through, so they are not isolating like in ear or on ear headphones. In use, I found the sound quality to be good, with good levels of clarity and bass. Although the sound quality is not as good as my daily driver headphones, they did cost over four or five times the cost of these, so I would expect that. That said, the sound quality is good and I could happily use these earphones for gaming, listening to music or watching streaming content. I did find the headphones comfortable to wear and use, even for extended periods.Overall, these are great value open earphones that sound really good.

Open ear open sound
This is my first experience with open ear buds. I have tried bone conduction and didnât like the vibration so these seems an interesting idea. And indeed they are. You get the normal stuff, inline mic and controls and USB C connection but you also get these odd looking buds which have to contain clip to hold them in place so of course these use the over the ear clips.Thankfully these feel pretty comfortable especially with no part in your ear. My initial thought was that surely you canât get bass as even when a normal earbud is loose you lose half of the bass. However there is bass and itâs fairly well balanced. They are not going to win any prizes for overall sound quality but they are not awful either in fact they are pretty good. The outside noise coming in is weird at first but once you get used to it, it can be good. I couldnât tell how much noise bleed there is to others but overall these have been a positive experience.

Bit pricey for what you get
My biggest issue with these headphones is that at this price (£20), there are some great IEMs starting to appear, that will give much more expensive earbuds a run for their money. There are also some pretty reasonable wired earbuds around for less.So when I put these in my ears and get some sounds that lack detail and clarity, I struggle to recommend them on sound quality grounds. Could you listen to music on them? Sure, but you will always know there are better options out there. What they do have going for them, is that they are open, so they don’t go in your ear canal at all, this means a couple of things, first they are reasonably comfortable. Second, they don’t block sound so you can hear sounds around you, anybody around you can also hear what you hear if you listen to music loudly.

Excellent value.
It is unusual as far as the connection goes: there is no Bluetooth or 3.5 mm jack connection. Now that many devices have eliminated the 3.5 mm connection, it is a sensible decision to have a USB-C connection.Getting these open earbuds fitted to your ears is a bit fiddly, and the in-line controls are too close to be of any use.To the sound of the buds, first as they are open so you are aware of the sounds around you. These Buds produce a surprising amount of bass, it’s nicely clipped and bouncy…The Mids and high frequencies are clean and clear, making vocals and instruments well-delivered.The volume when on maximum is a tad too loud, again unusual on open buds, so you can afford to take the volume down a couple of notches and still get a full sound with no distortion to it.

Decent wired open ear headphones
These a a decent set of wired (USB C) open ear headphones. I got them for my husband to wear for work – he has a dodgy ear so struggles with in-ear headphones so these are a good alternative. He says they are a bit fiddly to put on and the controls are not the best but the sound quality for what he listens to (usually podcasts) is surprisingly good and he can still hear his work mates.
