After AirPods Pro, with ANC I needed something different, with noise cancelling and on-ear. This JBL headphones surprised me very positively after the first moment wearing it, absolutely amazing, own JBL app, great noise cancelling i just recommend.

JBL wireless headphonesThese headphones, in so many aspects, are pure excellence, in quality, aesthetic, use for different needs, customisable features but the one thing that ultimately let these down, is the size. I have a small head, honestly my husband’s headphones drop of my head all the time and these JBL ones just squashed my head uncomfortably! Now if the aim of the game, is maybe a teenager, these would be more than perfect but not as much for an adult, comfort wise.The design of these headphones is beautiful, they’re absolutely aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The material on both the ear pads and headband, is superb. The build is sturdy, durable, foldable, adjustable, all around good. The fit, as I previously mentioned, is not great.These charge via USB-C, this takes around 3 hours from an empty battery to fill and this can last a decent amount of time, up to 65 hours, depending on the use, i.e constantly up full vol, Bluetooth connection etc. What is also brilliant, is a 5 minute charge, gives you 4 more hours playtime!You have a built in Alexa and quick access to ok Google. There are a few modes, including a noise cancelling.There is an app you can connect these to, which is quick and easy to do. This is called ‘JBL headphones ‘.In this app, you have a multitude of things to play with, to make these headphones more customisable.You have quick access to noise cancelling, ambient mode and talk through. You can customise the ANC (active noise cancelling). You have a customisable equaliser, which you can choose the mode you’d like it to go with, like extreme bass etc. Customise your active gestures, the voice aware sound pick up level, personalise sound amplification and so much more.There is also a cool feature, which tests your hearing with an array of different sounds, that teeter off into the distance, which gives a more personalised sound effect, suited more to your hearing style. Which I think is fantastic, I have excellent hearing but my husband, not so much.These have in many ways exceeded my expectations. As you could imagine with the customisable sound features, the sound quality is absolutely excellent, better than some more expensive headphones I’ve previously had. It is just the size, letting these down.For many, many reasons, I would recommend them but be aware of the sizing.

Le cuffie si presentano subito di buona fattura. Belle al tatto e morbide sugli orecchi. Gradevole anche la finitura dell’imbottitura sull’archetto, in stoffa. Indossate sono leggermente strette sulle orecchie, ma non danno fastidio, anzi risultano stabili anche per una corsa, benchè non dedicate allo sport.La qualità audio è elevata, si riconoscono molto bene i suoni se la musica viene da un supporto registrato con alta qualità. Non si hanno distorsioni neppure a alto volume su nessuna fequenza. Ottimo il livello di riduzione del rumore, meno la funzione “ambient aware” che dovrebbe permettere l’utilizzo in strada, consentendo di sentire i rumori.Poco utile, almeno per ora, la funzione touch del padiglione destro: io non mi trovo, preferisco i tasti.Le cuffie funzionano perfettamente anche senza la app dedicata, che comunque prevede molte funzioni. Utile la possibilità di settare la lingua delle notifiche e l’equalizzatore (che però io non utilizzo, perchè preferisco ascolaltare la musica “piatta”).Nel complesso un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.
