Replacement Lens Cap
The lens cap itself is a good product and if it wasn’t for a failing with the cord I would give five stars.However, the item picture shows the cord already attached and it isn’t. I had to thread it myself and it was extremely tricky to do.

Fine fit, and lens hood fits over the cap
Unlike another (generic but better known) brand I can invert my lens hood and fit it for storage without removing lens cap – likewise remove the hood for use without disturbing the lens hood. Grips well on low profile filters. All good. And… unlike that other make the hole for string is big enough to be usable without resorting to watchmakers tools and the string is strong woven nylon not some cheap thread. Shame I won’t be using that bit as dangly lens hoods drive me nuts.

Better than the original as slightly deeper so easier to grip to put on.

Cheap replacement for original
Weirdly I found my original lens cap had become distorted and would no longer fit. This was a cheap replacement. Only flaw is the cord to attach it to the camera is useless. It is too short and not a loop – really just a length of thin cord. But fortunately as I had my original cord I could use that instead. Glad I had not thrown it out with the old cap
