    Bye bye Logitech, hello Nulea
Trackball user for 20+ years and always bought Logitech. My last wired version is past its best, and the last time I bought a Logitech wireless mouse I could only ever get a fleeting connection even with a replacement dongle and non-OEM dongles. Thought I would try this Nulea model and have been impressed so far. I have a Bluetooth laptop and a wireless PC and the trackball switches happily between the two without issue. Similar shape to Logitech, but with more robust padded feet and some extra button functionality it is a clear winner for me.

    Not suitable for my hEDS
While the mouse itself is really well designed, if you have hypermobility/hEDS it can be a pain. Literally. The position of the trackball means having to re-orientate your hand into an uncomfortable position to reach the buttons at the same time. Also, the mouse itself is quite large which doesn’t help when it comes to reach. Well made, but not for me.

    Ergonomically sound trackball
I needed a Bluetooth wireless trackball for my mini PC to replace my wired USB trackball from the best known make. The side mounted trackball is much easier to use than the centrally mounted one, with left and right click buttons either side. You roll the trackball with your thumb and click with your fingers, and it’s super easy. It’s a little bit lighter than the big brand one but has rubber feet which work very well in stopping it from sliding about.Setting up was a breeze: after initial charging, switch on and the Bluetooth light underneath starts to flash. You can change to WiFi connection but I don’t know why you would if you have Bluetooth. Windows 11 Pro found it straight away, and everything including the scroll wheel works as expected. You can adjust the sensitivity but it seems about right straight out of the box.Great buy at a very reasonable price.

    Brilliant For The Price
I have used a track ball for years (I prefer one to a mouse as they work better in a confined space being static) but my old wired Genius wired version was losing smoothness despite regular cleaning. After first looking at Logitech as one of the main brands I spotted this Nulea Trackball and after reading the reviews decided to get one after considering the cost, Bluetooth connectivity and that it is also rechargeable. So far I have not been disappointed! It is extremely smooth in operation and easily paired using Bluetooth (there are two Bluetooth version options – v3 & v5) as well as a 2.4ghz wireless dongle (stored on the underside of the case) as per typical wireless Trackballs and other peripheral UIDs. It can also be connected using the supplied USB USB ‘A’ to ‘C’ cable included in the box that is used for charging it – the USB ‘C’ port being located on the front of the Trackball. The required interface type can be selected with a ‘mode’ button on the underside of the unit next to the power on / off button. I was particularly looking for Bluetooth connectivity as it saves the need to use a wireless dongle which can easily be lost or broken. Having 3 connectivity options with this device makes it very versatile. The case has a non-slip rubberised feel to your hand is less likely to slip off it in use or when moving it about – especially if using it with multiple pieces of kit. There are the usual left and right buttons and scroll wheel / button in the centre as well as the page up / down buttons to the left of the left ‘mouse’ button. There is also a small DPI adjustment button below the scroll wheel that can be adjusted to preference. There is an LED below the DPI button which indicates the battery status when charging (Blue) or when the battery becomes low (Red). So far I am very impressed with this Trackball considering it’s a brand I’d never heard of. The only thing that concerns me is that I’ve owned numerous things that have been made with a similar non-slip coating (Sat Nav, Binoculars etc. etc.) and after a number of years the coating has perished and turned into a very sticky unusable condition. Only time will tell but I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a good quality, wireless Trackball.

I was having a sore wrist by the end of the work day with a standard mouse. A friend suggested I try this style and I don’t regret it.It is a bit to learn how to use it at first but once you master it, very comfortable. No more sore wrist.Update. This mouse is still going strong and I can still highly recommend.I go through mice every couple years so let’s see how long the mouse tracking keeps working. Will update again in April 2025 and let you know

My Logitech 570 finally developed the switch issue so many have encountered — so it was time to move on as it isn’t produced any longer.I decided I would order 2 different replacements – M570s replacement Egro M575 and this Nulea M501.Here’s what I know:Feel — the Nuela just feel nice to hold. Well sculpted, nice rubberized surface. Feels solid/expensive. The M575 in contrast just doesn’t feel that way … feels plasticky and a little fragile.Roller – the Nuela has a nicer role to it than the M575. Smooth comes to mind with little noise … to be honest the M575 feels a little scratchy as I roll it around (not the ball but the switches I would think).Button Click – not much difference for me here. The Nuela seems a bit louder, but overall I would say it is a wash. Of interest will be longevity as the Logitech models previously has switch issues; not sure about the M575.Button Orientation – here’s where the comfort factor comes in the M575 is exactly the same position as my old M570 so it feels like home. The Nuela isn’t far off but I can tell the orientation is slightly off — not bad, but I find my fingers are having to learn its position a bit.Battery – here is where I am torn as I like the single battery of the M575 and I found the old model to go a LONG time on the battery. The Nuela is chargeable using USB C which I await the day when I forget and it dies mid document; but that said it has been on its initial charge since I got it with no issues so am interested to see how long the charge lasts.DPI button – Nuela’s button to customize the DPI movement was a nice addition that I don’t think the M575 has on the trackball itself.Bluetooth Connection – I haven’t used the dedicated USB connector but have gone Bluetooth. Pairing was easy for both and connections fine. Logitech wanted to install its custom software but since I am on a managed asset with no admin rights both run on native Windows drivers fine.Multiple Devices – I know the Nuela has this feature, but haven’t had a need for it and don’t see the need in the future so would see it a wash for me with the M575.Longevity – well that will be the telling part so will updated as it unfolds.Overall, I prefer the Nuela M501 … simply it has a nicer feel to it for use, and simply feels more solid especially for its price point. I’ll keep the Logitech Ergo M575 as a backup and my mobile trackball as I got a great deal on it, but the Nuela will be my daily driver.PS. The ability to select the color of your roller ball is a neat option as well — went orange which is more of a sparkle copper tone.

Es un mouse muy bueno, quizá un poco incómodo al principio pero te acostumbras al paso del tiempo. La batería dura muchísimo. Muy recomendable
