Considerations
The 90-degree rule
For maximum results with your CPL, the sun should be at 90-degrees to your lens. To check, make an L with your hand, point your thumb at the sun and your index finger is the max polarization angle.
Not for telephoto lenses
This range is made for entry-level lenses but is not recommended for use with lenses longer than 100mm. For best results with telephoto lenses, we suggest our 3Peak range.

I did have magnetic filters at a much higher price but they went missing. I replaced with these cheap ones as I needed it next day for a photography weekend on the lakes.Iâm not buying the expensive ones again. These are excellent quality and a good price.Those who think big name filters have less cast, consistent effect etc should look at these. They tick every box of filters three times the price.I sound like Iâm sponsored? I wish. Iâm just an amateur photographer more than happy with his purchase.

Cracking filters / can be a ballache to separate.
The filters themselves appear to be made of high-quality glass and they certainly do improve colours and reduce noise in images taken on sunny days. Adjusting the CPL doesn’t appear to affect the image too much but I suppose, at the lower-end of the GOBE price-range, one really cannot expect any more from these filters. The only reason I am leaving four stars in stead of five is because the UV and CPL can sometimes become wedged together and are extremely difficult to separate. I think this is purely down to the very fine threads and variations in temperature but, as I like to leave the UV on my camera permanently, it can be a real ball ache when fumbling around trying to remove the CPL.Overall: cracking filters at a very good price. And they (claim to) plant trees. What’s not to like?

Have purchased GOBE filters before and can confirm that they are a quality product.Two filters screw into one unit, so are easy to keep together.

It is difficult to remove if you screw it on hard, it works for me and reduces glare, a little
Due to the tiny grip on the cpl it will be hard to remove if you over tighten or it expands due to heat I guess. I found the best way to fit it is to remove your lens hood, place it on the lens (gently) until secure but not over tight, then only turn the cpl one way (so it can’t loosen the entire filter accidentally). Then once the cpl is in the desire location, either replace the hood if needed or better use a flag so you can adjust cpl further. It worked for me on a single test indoors and reduced glare “a little”, so a little time saved editing the cpl filtered image, but I did do a better job editing the same photo without the cpl?

Handy filters and nice metal caps as well
The filters are nicely made and the glass is good quality, producing little if any distortion. You can see from the photograph that the reflected light is only a very dim green and when looking at the UV filter, you would be hard pressed to know that there was glass in there.Additional to the two filters are two metal end caps that screw on, providing a lot of protection for the surfaces and of course, that means that you can protect other filters of your choice.

I recently got Fuji 50R and got a day light filter in the shop, such is my paranoia about front elements. Hoya, pricey, and curse myself for not thinking ahead. I already have a Gobe on my work cameras, so for my next lens I got another of those, as well as a polariser.When it was delivered, I remembered what great value for money, flawless optic tech and the packaging and whole ‘vibe’ of the many (eg sustainability, the groovy packaging) make picking them a no-brainer.

Acaba de llegar y ya tengo problemas. No habÃa leido los comentarios donde hablan mal de la rosca.Para todos aquellos que les pueda ocurrir. Pasa solo con el Polarizado Circular (CPL): Este filtro tiene una rosca para roscar al objetivo, que lo aprietas como un tornillo, hacia la derecha. Para sacarlo, lo intentas con la banda delantera y resulta que empiezas a dar vueltas y vueltas y no sale. Esa banda delantera que da vueltas, es para el mismo filtro. Donde hay que agarrar para desenroscar el filtro, es en una banda finita DENTADA que hay detrás. Agarrando sólo de ahÃ, se puede desenroscar el filtro… Una auténtica aventura averiguar que eso funcionaba asÃ… Finalmente he podido desenroscar el filtro y respirar aliviado…En cuanto a los filtros en sÃ, para el que precio que tienen, son una maravilla, muy contento con la compra después del susto inicial…

Cette achat si vous recherchez un filtre UV et Polarisant est juste indispensable! Car en plus d’avoir des produits de qualité, vous allez planter 5 arbres au Népal! **Attention cependant ces arbres seront plantés si vous renseignez bien le code qui se trouve dans la boîte! Et cela ne nécessite pas forcément de créer un compte chez eux** Cette démarche est juste géniale. De plus il se trouve un chiffon doux qui est fourni et une pochette de rangement de bonne facture. Je recommande tout particulièrement GOBE.

Article reçu en parfait état et dans de brefs délais.Les 2 filtres me semblent être de très bonne facture. Parfaite intégration à l’objectif de mon boîtier Panasonic Lumix. Filetage très précis du coup le vissage est des plus aisés.Utilisé sur photos en randonnée ; a parfaitement joué son rôle sur le voile UV sur mes prise de vue de paysages.Je recommande.

Habe die Filter für mein Panasonic 12-60 mm gekauft. Die beiden Verschlusskappen finde ich sehr praktisch, kann man die Filter doch einfach in der Jackentasche mitnehmen. Die Gewinde sind leichtgängig, also präzise gefertigt.Sogar ein kleiner Stoffbeutel und ein Microfasertuch waren dabei. Bis jetzt sind mir weder optische Mängel noch Vigniettierungen beim Weitwinkel aufgefallen.Bin mit diesen Gobe Filtern rundum zufrieden und werde mir noch einen Satz ND Filter zulegen.
