Very happy, does exactly what I need
This does exactly what I wanted. Work laptop plugged in with USB-C which handles 2 displays, mouse, keyboard, webcam and speaker. Then a personal desktop with 2 video outs (Display Port & HDMI), the mouse, keyboard, webcam and speaker again.Price wise I think it was fair, KVM’s can run very expensive and I think the price here was towards the lower end of the scale. That did worry me as I thought it might cut corners but I have to say I’m very happy with the functionality and the build.Lessons learned, dont buy extra cables, it comes with HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-A & USB-C. I did because I did not see in the advert, I have spares now. Also, and this is just me and not understanding how things work but you plug the laptop in with the USB-A and get duel display. HDMI does not work like that, you want 2 displays you better have 2 video cables coming out the back of your PC. Thats just me and my understanding, once I worked that out things worked fine!

Works as advertised
Having spent much time experimenting with cables and so forth to try and get a gaming PC and a work laptop work properly through a KVM (usb-c laptop with display output, and a games machine with 3 DP and 1 HDMI), this is the only solution I have found that actually works, and works well. Nice piece of kit, perhaps worth mentioning the included cables in the blurb. Easy to connect, easy to use.My only negative would be its size and/or there is no remote switcher such as you can often get with other KVM’s (this would mean i could put it out of view and just use a little switch button to change outputs rather than having the entire thing on my desk), but a good solid piece of kit that works as intended, very happy.

It just worked
This is a review for 4KSW21-DM KVM SwitchI needed the ability to switch everything between work and personal PC – two monitors (not chained, mixture of HDMI and Display Ports), camera, wireless Bluetooth headset, mouse and keyboard. Dam that’s a lot of cables! Both of my PC’s have a USB 3 port, checked before purchase. After finding space and tidying all those cables it really did just work.I am going to mention the unit itself because it looks and feels like a quality built device. I like that it is not all plastic and that all the ports are sensibly labelled. It came with a manual that I have not had to look at.I have USB keyboard plugged into the USB 1.1 socket as suggested. I have not changed the hotkey from TAB and can say that TAB + 1 / TAB + 2 works without issue and I have not had any issues with this interfering with either PC.There was a suggestion that this device interferes with wireless router. I have a BT HomeHub less than 1m away from the switch and so far have not experienced any issues.Personally the fact that the Jabra headset reconnects when switching was a big win, have had issues with this headset in past (MacBook) but it is so good I do not want to change it.All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.I have not used the device in USB mode, I have no need for that at the moment.I have not received any kickbacks for this review, though am not averse to receiving some after the fact :-). I purchased the unit after some research and hope this helps other people decide.

Bought this when my previous KVM started to malfunction after about two years. Using it for more than a week, so far so good. I am using only USB and HDMI switching with one monitor, that works fine. An advantage to have the possibility to switch two monitors at the same time.

Habe das Gerät vor 2 Monaten gekauft und betreibe 2 Computer, 2 Monitore, Bluetooth Maus + Keyboard und ab und zu eine externe Festplatte. Das Gerät ist zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber bisher bin ich sehr zufrieden. Alle angeschlossenen Peripheriegeräte funktionieren einwandfrei.

モデル『4KSW21-DM』　購入目的：2台のデスクトップPCを有線キーボード１つ、無線マウス１つを共用し、マルチディスプレー化すること。モデル『4KSW21-DM』について結果：類似品のKVMでいろんな問題が起きている口コミを見ていたので、『4KSW21-DM』で　　　問題なく簡単に実現できてよかったです。　　　２か月使用した印象では総合的にみて、機能の割にコストパフォーマンスが素晴らしいと　　　思います。良い点：・KVMモードとUSBモードの2つのモードがあり選択切り替えが可能で便利です。　　　　　KVMモードでは、PC1台を選んでマルチディスプレーとして表示、　　　　　USBモードでは2台のPCをモニター１台づつに表示されます。　　　　・HOT Key機能があるので、KVMモードでどちらのPCをマルチディスプレーで　　　　　表示するかをキーボードで切替えられる。　　　　　本体の切替ボタンを使わなくて良いので将来のボタン故障を心配する必要なし。　　　　・周辺機器のインターフェースが多い：3x USB 3.0、1x USB 1.1に更に　　　　　マイク端子、オーディオ端子も接続可能　　　　　　USBには無線マウス、WEBカメラ、有線キーボード接続しています。問題なく稼働。　　　　・安定している。ノイズ、ちらつきなどは出ていない。　　　　・金属製のボディで頑丈にできている。冷却性も高い。熱くなることはない。　　　　・表示の切替は、数秒（３－4秒位）で気にはなりません。　　　　・機能の割にコストパフォーマンスが高い。その他：PCーKVMスイッチ間をDVI-HDMI変換ケーブルで、KVMスイッチーモニタ間を　　　　HDMIケーブルでつないでモニターに映像を表示させています。　　　　この変換ケーブルを使うとモニターから音声は出力されないと思っていたのですが、　　　　音声もモニターのスピーカーから出力されました。ラッキーです。　　　　しかし、初めの０．５秒音声が出ていないこと、その後音声は出ていますが　　　　１０分後くらいから無音になります。　　　　OSのサウンド設定のボリュームコントロールで一旦ミュートにしてからミュート解除すると　　　　音声が戻ってきます。PC２台とも同じ現象です。　　　　そもそもこのような変換ケーブルで音声までモニターから出せるような仕様ではない　　　　ような気がしますが、何が悪いのか（ケーブル？ドライバー？Win11? 他？）　　　　遊び感覚で問題点の切り分け作業をやっているところです。　　　　Webで調べてみたところ、windowsでhdmi使用時に音声の頭切れ、途切れが　　　　起こることがあるとのこと。　　　　特に、KVMスイッチや複数の機器を介して音声信号を伝送している場合、　　　　音声の遅延や欠けが発生することがあるとのこと。　　　　根本原因はわかっていませんが、対処方法として、無音再生ソフトで　　　 「無音」を再生し続ける方法があると知りました。　　　　音声の途切れがなくなり、効果を確認いたしました。　　　　この状態でしばらく使いながら、根本原因の切り分けを続けていこうと思います。
