Camera sees in the dark
I’m pleased with this. I get high quality colour images 24 hours a day. It is a great adjunct to my Ring doorbell. I live in a city centre, so it records a lot. The battery was only lasting three days. I’ve turned down the sensitivity. Now less is captured, and I get 10 days from one charge. I think I will add a solar panel and see if I can increase the sensitivity again while preserving batter life.

Great Quality Camera
Amazing quality camera. Upgraded from the 1080p version which Amazon replaced for this version and itâs better. The only downside I would say is the WiFi card in the inside of the camera doesnât go far, Iâve got mesh all over my home and the RSSI isnât great but bearable.

Almost perfect
My only âcomplaintâ would be concerning the Alert tones. I donât want a Yank telling me thereâs someone at the door and the non-verbal ones are just awful. Why canât we record our own Alerts?

A plug-in camera, Not a hardwired one!
The device comes with an adaptor, so it cannot be hardwired directly and must be connected to a power outlet. If you prefer a hardwired setup, you may need to purchase the ‘Hardwired Kit for Cameras’ (£50), which includes an adaptor built into the junction box to convert the plug-in connection to a hardwired one. This is an additional hidden cost if you plan to mount it permanently on the wall.

Not a WiFi upgrade from the stick up
I have 5 ring cameras – an outdoor stick up – 2 indoor and 2 floodlights, so when I saw there was a 2k version of the outdoor stick up, I decided to upgrade my existing one. This was a mistake and I have sent the 2k camera back for the following reasons……..it does not automatically refresh on the dashboard regularly, you have to go to live view and then back before it will refresh – the WiFi feed deterioted a lot (the camera was situated in the exact same place as my regular HD stick up,) the RSSI went from 31 (stock up) to 71 (2k). The clarity was actually worse than the HD or similar at best. When you viewed a recording the screen was blurry for a good 15-20 seconds before it rectified and cleared itself up a bit. My other cameras also started to have issues refreshing on dashboard after I installed the 2k. Those havve resolved now that I have reverted back to the stock up.This could all be caused by the 2k requiring a really strong WiFi signal, but considering I am currently at 31 with the HD I really don’t know how strong a signal it expects to perform to an acceptable standard.

Nach mehreren Einbrüchen in der Nachbarschaft haben meine Frau und ich uns dazu entschieden, insgesamt 3 Ring Kameras (inkl. Türklingel) zu installieren. Die Dinger sind echt der Hammer. Verlauf über den ganzen Tag, wir fühlen und einfach sicher. Installation ist denkbar einfach, wir haben uns für das Abo für 9,99 ⬠im Monat entschieden. Zusätzlich gaben wir in Summe zwei Ersatzakkus bestellt, die immer voll geladen dann schnell ausgetauscht werden können, um keinerlei Aufnahmeunterbrechungen zu haben. Das tolle an den akkubetriebenen Kameras ist natürlich die megaeinfache Installation. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ottima videocamera, posso solo dire, siccome è perfetta in tutto e per tutto, che anche non fare l’abbonamento non cambia tanto. Avendo già parecchie Arlo Ultra ma con abbonamento caro, vi assicuro che andate al sicuro anche con il suo pannello solare a parte non c’è più bisogno di caricarla

Die Kamera lässt sich leicht installieren, wenn man nicht der Beschreibung folgt, sondern intuitiv vorgeht. Das Gerät und auch das Solarpanel machen einen wertigen und gut verarbeiteten Eindruck.Beim WLAN sollte man auf die direkte Anbindung an den Router achten, dann ist die Verbindung stabil.
