Ideal for Ring Outdoor Spotlight Camera
Update 17-1-2023I put the last panel up two weeks ago, for a camera located on a part of my property that has limited sunlight. I added the panel as close as possible to sun and it gets between 4 and 5 hours sunlight a day.The camera was at 19% charge when I added the solar panel; today itâs at 65% and thatâs for a camera that gives multiple notifications and was previously the battery I changed most often.Iâm very impressed. The other two cameras have not dropped below 95% since November.Another 3 panels have just been purchased.Original reviewI have now put up two of the three panels (in the second half of November, so not a lot of sunlight) and so far these are brilliant.Both Spotlight Cams are at 100% battery each time I check and both cameras are on the settings that use most power.They are very easy to install, less than 10 minutes on brickwork and even quicker attaching to my garden office.I have seven cameras around my property and will invest in more in the new year (or earlier if the appear in the Black Friday sale).

Fantastic must have got Ring camera owners
Absolutely love these, work better than I expected!I had read some reviews for the official Ring panels saying to charge your better first to 100%, but I didn’t and wanted to see what the impact would be would it maintain battery at same level or increase it? I had 22% in my Stick Up can which is triggered fairly frequently, and after about 4 days it was to 80%, and now after just over a week it is at 100%, and keeps charging even on dull cloudy days.I so added these to my Spotlight Cams and had the same amazing results.My only issue (which from what I can see will be the same for any brand panel) is the cable is a little messy looking, but that can be treated with some cable trunking. The cable is long enough so you can position it in various places, however in my case I need a shorter cable. Also note that on first setup if it is not a sunny day it may take half an hour or so for the device to pick up the connection, at least that is what happened with me.Overall a great addition if you use Ring battery powered products.

It does exactly what it said it would do
I have quite a few Ring STick up Cams and three of them were draining quite quickly but that was due to traffic. These are now keeping them topped up and I am very grateful for that. Gets rid of the “battery watching”.

Worked from the box good product
Very easy to install and worked immediately. 3 cameras now at 100% 24 hours after installation. Very impressed ive got 2 more cameras but they aren’t in the sun but i think thers is enough wire to get enough charge. Would buy again.

Incorrect unit supplied
I have only given this 1 star, not because of quality, but because the wrong units were supplied. Ordered the panels for the RING spotlight cameras in BLACK, however I received the panels for the ARLO cameras in WHITE. Returning via Amazon was easy if inconvenient.

So far these are working very well and keeping batteries at 100%. It remains to be seen how efficient they are come the poor weather, but at the moment I’m delighted.

I bought these for my ring cameras that I installed around my home, they were all battery operated so I definitely wanted an option that would keep the battery lasting a long time. I was a little skeptical about how the solar panel charge would work, but I can confidently say that these work amazing. All of my devices stay pretty actively charged and I havenât had to charge a battery since the installation which happened over a year ago. The bill quality of the solar panels is very durable built for the outdoor experience and connectivity was seamless. The installation process was pretty easy as well. You just follow the instructions that come with the setup. As for the size of the panels, they seem to be pretty standard across others in its market. If youâre looking for solar powered option to charge your devices, this would be a great choice!

I purchase these solar panel for my ring spot cameras because I was tired of climbing ladders to replace charged batteryâs , I no longer have this problems , batteries stay 100% charged at all times witch helps signal strength to be more consistent, I would recommend to everyone

It was easy to hook up to our ring camera. We had them for about six months and no issues with it keeping the battery fully charged. We got tired of always have to charge the battery and it was either get new batteries (our batteries were a couple of years old and wasnât hold much of a charge) or get solar charger. We choose solar charger and couldnât be happier with that decision. Only issue is I wished we ordered this earlier so we didnât waste our time disconnecting the batteries, charging it, and replacing which we often forgot to do for a while so we had a dead camera for several weeks. Definitely worth the price
