Excellent keyboard at an excellent price
This package is what you expect from logitech, very solid keyboard that does its job with no flashy bits. Everything feels well put together and works fine. If you are looking for a budget keyboard/mouse then I can’t see any reason to buy anything else. There’s no point in trying to save a couple more pounds on an even cheaper Chinese one when this will most likely last a lifetime. Now all logitech need to do is make a super basic mechanical keyboard!

Functionally useful
With heavy dependence on my PC this seems a sensible precautionary standby. I have had both mouse and keyboard accidents and this provides an immediate replacement. The keyboard is of a reasonable quality but with the ‘e’ and ‘a’ keys soon rubbing blank. It is not a gaming/high speed keyboard but a functional USB office-style option. The mouse is of a similar quality.Personally I have one of these in use and a spare to hand

Great basic set.
Great basic keyboard and mouse.I had a wireless mouse previously and got fed up with the batteries running out while in the middle of doing work. My old wireless keyboard was good, with numerous shortcut keys…which I’ll miss….but it got too tatty…had to go…This keyboard doesn’t have shortcut & media keys, and the mouse doesn’t have browser ‘back & ‘forward’ keys which I used on my old one. So this is basic. But it’s a cheap price.I’m really impressed with the feel of both the keyboard and mouse. The keys are nice and quiet, and I my typing is faster on it than my previous keyboard. The bottom has good grippy pads. The mouse feels nice, with a nice click and is comfortable in the hand.I’m happy with this package. Even though I lose some features, I needed to renew, for a cheap price…and I’m happy.

perfect for a real typist
This keyboard has all a real proper typist needs and it is only in using this keyboard rather than that of a laptop or a mini keyboard that one realises how badly ones typing has become. However with this keyboard, I can revitalise my better typing as was before I retired. Has good touch and real keys to press and you just plug in the keyboard and mouse to get going. Well worth it.

in particular is brilliant – low profile which helps with my repetitive strain
Purchased these as replacements for standard work HP keyboard/mouse combos that were getting on a bit.Personally I find Logitech kit very well made and these were of the same high quality as expected. The mouse, in particular is brilliant – low profile which helps with my repetitive strain, good length lead and solid buttons and wheel. Plus, as this is an optical mouse and not laser, it works on virtually any surface. The keyboards are solid and a pleasure to type on. I am a touch-typist and am particularly fussy about layouts and button feel/resistance and this logitech is not too compact that your fingers are crowded together, but not too large like some of the old Compaq or Gateway keyboards of time past where you had to almost move your hand to reach the next key.If you are looking for a no-frills keyboard and mouse set, that does the job well and doesn’t cost the earth, this is absolutely the set for you!

I like this keyboard. Far better than my previous one. solid and nice looking. The buttons seem better than normal. Comfortable to use

Fine keyboard, trash marketing.
Decent keyboard and mouse, it doesn’t have features that many modern mice and keyboard have like pointer speed adjuster which is preferred for me and would have been 5 stars if not for the fact it was advertised as a “combo” and “Just plug in this corded combo via USB and go.” Implying it was tethered through one USB connection. If it had stated that it uses two separate USB connections like most other ones instead of some nonsense about its carbon footprint then I wouldn’t mind. But it didn’t.

It works!
This was bought as an emergency purchase to enable use of a Dell Latitude E5530 laptop. The original keyboard on that had become unusable because of a build up of detritus over 10+ years between the key contact membranes – a vacuum was no longer able to clear the mess. I run Ubuntu, and make use of the multi-media special keys, and especially the calculator pad at the right.I originally planned to get the DELL USB keyboard, but close examination of the pictures showed that although it was described as ENG(UK) QWERTY, the pound sign £ was not supported. With the original keyboard detached from the motherboard, and a piece of thin card to insulate components, the logitech keyboard was laid across the “hole”, plugged in to a spare USB 2.0 port. It’s slim enough so that there is still full access to the trackpad, and the height does not get in the way of seeing the screen.Worked as expected on every key – checked with the xev utility -with my OS. No extra driver needed. There is NO Fn modifier, so I have had to write my own key-bindings with other modifiers to achieve things like volume, brightness, and immediate access to the calculator. I haven’t tried edge case tests like the REISUB commands direct to the Linux kernel.Because of the way it has to be positioned neither ergonomics or comfort can be a consideration, but I would note that the keys are “clacky” and provide good feedback.Did the expected job. A good purchase.UPDATE 5 September 2024The legends on the keycaps are starting to wear away, less than three months of use. E, R, C, N (worst) and M. Really missing the multimedia keys for controlling volume. No problems with actual keystrokes and reading on the Ubuntu system.

It’s so nice to be able to plug in the keyboard and mouse and not have to worry about battery maintenance which is a nuisance and one more thing to remember. I will try not to spill sticky, oily things on this keyboard!

Keyboard was good to replace laptop keypad, which has stopped working

Sometimes it is best to go wired. No more changing of batteries, no more glitchy mouse movements due to wireless interference… basically worry free. A great purchase that’ll last a few years.

Ich bin damit zufrieden, da die Funksachen nicht einwandfrei funktioniert haben. Es lagen immer wieder Störungen vor wegen anderer “Sender”. Deswegen kabelgebunden und alles geht wie gewollt.
