Customers say
Customers find the docking station to be a bonafide bargain with good build quality, though some report it breaking after three months. The dock compatibility receives mixed feedback, with some finding it great while others say it doesn’t work, and the port count includes nearly as many ports as advertised but lacks a PSU and HDMI. The design looks good, though one customer notes poor visual quality, and customers report issues with connectivity, with one mentioning random disconnections when connected to TV. The power supply aspect receives mixed reviews, with some reporting it works well with the ROG Ally while others say it doesn’t deliver any power.

Docking station
This is a amazing product, bought it to use with my Rog Ally. I like that you can plug in additional joypads for multiplayer games. The hdmi connected to a 50 inch TV is amazing. Retro games looks good but some twerking needed on large TVs. The docking station has a none slip grip under neath which is useful, especially if you have you kids, they pull the joypads accidently, act least your Rog Ally won’t go flying off the side.

Good value with one odd caveat for Switch
Have only received this today so will likely end up updating later but so far it works fine, basically exactly what you would expect from one of these. If you need something to connect your Steam Deck and HDD/other USB stuff to a TV without splurging on the official one, so far this one seems like it does the job fine. It looks great and after switching my official Steam dock with this one I couldn’t really tell the difference.I did pick this one up specifically because I heard it worked with both portable PCs and the Switch and despite it not being heavily advertised, this is indeed the case – however, you WILL need to use the Switch’s AC Adapter (there is no power supply included with this, so hopefully you have your own) for this, I assume so using any other power supply doesn’t accidentally end up bricking it like you often hear. As you might be able to tell from the design, yes, this means you’ll have to dock your Switch upside down. A little annoying considering this ends up blocking the fan vents on top (a little ironic considering one of the images advertises it *doesn’t* do this), but otherwise it works and sits in the cradle fine, as does my Deck. I mainly just wanted to mention this since it doesn’t seem to be in the description or any of the included instructions, nor does it seem to have been brought up in other reviews.

Awful, cheap, nasty tech
I bought this as a simple dock for my Steam Deck, the Deck doesnât fit in the dock with a slim case on (fair enough, I can let them off for this). Straight away I booted Super Luckys Tale for my son and handed him the controller, but it looked so sluggish. I put the frame counter on and it was struggling to hit 20 frames per second. I dropped the graphics settings to low and still had no improvement. I unplugged the Steam Deck and in handheld mode it immediately jumped straight back up to 90fps. I connected my UGreen dongle to the TV and it went straight to 60fps (the maximum output my tv supports). I changed the graphics to Ultra and it didnât even budge from 60fps, the dock by Sabrent is appalling quality and they should be ashamed to release it for sale.

Good Cheap Dock
Good alternative to the Valve option, value for money, works perfectly well, no complaints

Spot on!
Works perfectly, can’t get VRR working but not sure if it’s a Deck or dock issue
Steve H –
Nice quality but only works around 50% of the time
Decent build quality but very temperamental when it comes to charging and connecting to external displays.I’ve had problems since purchase with my Steam Deck recognising the unit and will not charge or connect to a monitor on several occassions.

Good quality
It was a present to my partner, who likes it a lot.

If you’re going to play at 4k or display desktop mode at 4k, get a different dock.
It works great for the most part but every now and then the screen goes black for a second which is an issue with third party docks. It’s a bit annoying and wish I had gone for either the official one or the UGREEN one as they apparently don’t have this issue.

Very clear image and works great

I got recommended this dock instead of getting the original Steamdeck one. It works perfectly and does everything the other one does.

I was excited to get this, however, when it came, none of the ports worked.Tried multiple cables and power sources and nothing worked, so I sent it back same day.So this is nothing more than a stand for your Steam Deck.
