Also works for Raspberry PI Zero
I have been using a RPI zero (w) for ages running PI-Hole (an adblocker) but wanted better connectivity and stability rather than wifi and this fits the bill perfectly.Did a fresh install of raspbian on a sd card plugged everything in and 10mins later everything was up and running on my lan (wifi not set up). This also will add network capability to a non wifi Pi Zero too.Great cheap adapter to get you a faster and more stable connection.Recommended.

More than it seems
The first thing to know about this Firestick Ethernet Adaptor is that is it actually TWO things1. A USB Splitter: This adds a standard USB-A port to your Firestick2. A standard USB-A Ethernet adaptorWhen used together, you can add Wired Ethernet to your Firestick. Simple install the device and disable WiFi on the Firestick. The USB Splitter can also be used with a Memory Stick, allowing you to increase the storage space on the Firestick and install additional apps …Or, indeed, install a hub and use multiple devices! You can also connect the Ethernet adaptor to a PC (Windows or Linux (Mac unknown)) to add an additional ethernet port. Here are the adaptor details (captured with `dmesg -w` on Linux):usb 1-1: new high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pciusb 1-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0bda, idProduct=8152, bcdDevice=20.00usb 1-1: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3usb 1-1: Product: USB 10/100 LANusb 1-1: Manufacturer: Realtekusb 1-1: SerialNumber: 00E04C360195usbcore: registered new interface driver r8152usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_etherusb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pcir8152 1-1:1.0: skip request firmwarer8152 1-1:1.0 eth2: v1.12.13

Works flawlessly with the firestick and you can use the lead to connect a keyboard…
This cable adds ethernet support to the firesticks so if youâre having problems with the wireless signal, or you just need a faster file transfer speed, this is ideal. This is powered by the firestick USB and the USB lead plugs into it, and also splits it off into another micro-USB which goes back into your firestick. You simply plug your RJ45 ethernet cable into this and it automatically connects to the internet through the ethernet connection. If you need to connect a keyboard to your firestick, you can remove the ethernet adapter from the power converter and plug in a USB keyboard instead and this works flawlessly. If you need a higher bandwidth, or a faster speed than wireless, this is the one that is compatible with the firestickâ¦

My partner had recently got a firestick and this works great for it.
I have to say i didn’t know what it was however he showed me how it works and how the speed on the firestick increased almost double by having it connected through this so we are really happy with it. Hopefully now he will stop whining when his football buffers less.

I bought this for my firestick 4K that I use in my bedroom TV. Did a speed test of just wi-fi and then with this attched. The wi-fi was slightly lower but not by much. I do like the USB part of it for updating stuff on my firestick so I guess it was worth it.
