Great little item for remote Temperature and Humidity tracking 10 min to 4 hour recording interval
What a great little gadget this is, itâs nice and small (50p in Pic for scale) with a little loop hole if you want to hang it that may be really useful when I use it in the greenhouse in the summer, it’s quite light but feels well made and sturdy.I purchased this to use for a few jobs through the year, I wasnât after a sensor with a screen readout on the item (I have a ITS-12S for that) the main reason being wanting to be able to remotely monitor my greenhouse temp and humidity in the summer via wifi and being able to set high temp alarms will help me look after my plants better.I also plan to use this in my fridge when making bacon to more accurately monitor the fridge temperature.Currently I have it sat on top of one of my cider fermentation barrels tracking the air temperature outside but under cover, set to every 30 mins (user definable from every 10 mins) it is collecting data that helps me monitor the fermentation speed so I can know when to rack this between barrels or if it has stalled due to very low temperatures.So far I have been really impressed, having fitted rechargeable batteries I expected the item to have gone flat really quick however it has been sat outside for weeks sending data and is reading 40% battery with little drop from this (rechargeable batteries run at a lower 1.2 volts so this didn’t start at 100% like it would with 1.5v)I was glad to see this connected to the Inkbird pro app that I already have other items connected through so I had no problem in setting it up on my android phone following the app prompts for connecting to the wifi on 2.4Ghz (you may need to split your wifi via the router if it runs duel bands like mine 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz) once connected / set up it will not have any issues.I can see me buying more of these for use round the house as well.Update 14.2.23 – having used this now for many months I still haven’t had to change the rechargeable batteries I fitted, these are currently showing as 36% still left in them so only dropped 4% in nearly 3 months, I have used this in the fridge porch and kitchen for monitoring temps in the day and night when making dough (helps me make timing adjustments / expectations as required having the temps)In the fridge when curing bacon,Through cider production and the list just goes on,The recording interval can be adjusted in the settings page from 10mins to 4 hoursMy workplace have also since purchased 5 of these for tracking office and factory temps using the data captured and exported to excel to make adjustments to levels and times to help save on heating costs, while doing this one annoyance we found was that when transferring data from multiple units the user definable unit name wasn’t carrying across meaning this had to be done singly so as not to confuse the data, however this issue has now been resolved with an update to the app.This now also carries the user defined name across with it as well as the period selected info, so this can now be done much quicker and easier.An amazingly useful piece of kit that I’m going to have to order more of. Throughly impressed.

Reliable, accurate stylish wifi sensor
Looking for a sensor to alert me when I was away from home led me to the INKBIRD IBS-TH3.The packaging is very modern like most products at the minute a stylish box that slides off with ease, the IBS-TH3 is well presented and again has a clean mordern look to it.I gave the IBS-TH3 36 hours in situ to acclimatise to the incubator and watched via the app for it to steady out.I was able to calibrate the sensor with my Comark C22C Food Thermometer. the IBS-TH3 calibration all though is made easy, is a little fiddley as the device needs to register every 0.1′ individually as it happens I was only 0.1’F out which is increddibly accurate.The sesor its self is sat center of an incubator and is important I am able to get notificatiions on any temp swings. On testing these notifications were pretty reliable, all though putting your phone/tablet on to do no disturb the app was unable to push notifications, easily fixed by giving the app the correct permissiions within your device to by pass DND.My only niggle at the moment seems to be it is quite hungry on the batteries, I am a week in to testing for my incoming eggs and the batteries have depleated ny 6% so i would 100% reccomend having some rechargables at hand.Over all the IBS-TH3 is a welcomed addiitiion to ourr hobby, and earrly testing shows a good accurate product able to send notifications reliable, with 1 or 2 fiddley tweaks. I can’t at the moment gove any complaint to the item or its workings orr reliabilty.

Junk? Or a Bad Batch?
I just bought two of these for tracking the temperature of my freezer and outside my property, picked these because they claim to operate down to -40C and are waterproof.Got them, they look nice, professional and I was hopeful. Then I tried to add them to the App, I tried on my mobile phone and tablet, neither of them picked up the units. I was less worried about the App as I planned to use them in Home Assistant which spotted them right away and just installed with no issues.Once added I put one in the freezer(6m away) and the other under the eaves of my extension(5m away) at the back of the house. The one in the freezer worked for about 3 hours before it started sending junk results, it reported the frozen freezer that was at -20C, as being at +19C, and then kept send sporadic bad readings over the last two days. The one outside seemed better, but today it was reporting +5C when it is actually zero right now.The batteries I am using are Procell, same as I have been using for the freezer for the last few years with a standalone temperature sensor with no trouble at all.So after all that it looks like they are going back to the suppliers/Amazon as unfit for the purpose.

We bought 4 and they worked fine. Only caveat is in the T&C you basically have to swear allegiance to the Chinse communist party. I would hesitate before buying more as that introduces the question as to where your data goes…

Great for fridge/freezers
I ended up buying a second of these so that I could monitor both fridge and freezer temperature. Really easy to conceal being wireless, and connectivity is always good! I’ve had the first one since August and it still has 30% battery left in it after being in constant use, so will last quite a while. App is easy to use and check for fluctuations on the graph setting.

Not Impressed
I wasnât impressed with this thermometer. Difficult to connect, and when connected was wildly inaccurate (when measured against another 2 thermometers) and annoyingly kept dropping off the internet every few minutes. I changed it for the Govee equivalent (model H5179), which is an excellent product. Very accurate, stable and with a great app interface.

Rilevatore molto interessante, consente di tenere monitorati costantementi i valori di temperatura e umidità di un determinato ambiente.Si può scegliere a quali intervalli di tempo aggiornare i parametri, da pochi minuti fino ad ore (ovviamente in questo caso la batteria si consumerà prima, mentre se si sceglie la modalità di default la stima della durata della batteria è di 6 mesi!).Anche la App, come da tradizione Inkbird, marca che io adoro, è semplice, intuitiva e molto esauriente! Consigliatissimo!

Jag använder den för att bevaka temperaturen i frysen. Väldigt smart att kunna tanka ut temperaturloggen med hjälp av Bluetooth utan att behöva öppna frysen. Mätaren lagrar 30.000 mätvärden och skriver sedan över de gamla värdena. Du måste regelbundet exportera värdena som csv-fil i appen och lagra på datorn om du vill bevara hela historiken.Temperaturmätaren reagerar långsamt på temperaturförändringar så det är ingen idé att ha för täta mätintervall, max en mätning per 10 minuter.Blueothkopplingen fungerar inte alltid helt perfekt. Ena gången funkar det trots att jag är i ett annat rum, nästa gång funkar det inte trots att jag är 50 cm från mätaren. om du vil slippa trasslet med Blutooth så rekommenderar att antingen köpa till Wifi-gateway Inkbird IBS-M1 eller köpa Wlan-versionen (Inkbird IBS-TH3) istället. Bägge löser problemen med Bluetooth och kopplar upp mätaren till molnet.OBS: om du vill använda mätaren i frysen eller kylen måste du ha ha Litium 1,5 AAA-batterier, vanliga alkaliska batterier fungerar inte inte i frysen.

Dit kleine handige kastje is top.Ik heb het nu 2 maanden in gebruik.Het is compact en werkt op je smartphone.Alle benodigde informatie zie je zo terug in de app.Zelfs grafieken van de afgelopen dagen, weken en maanden worden tot in detail weergegeven.Maximale en minimale luchtvochtigheid en temperatuur zijn naar behoeve in te stellen.Een alarmtoon bij overschrijding ervan, is ook eventueel te activeren.Al met al, een geweldig product voor een klein prijsje.

Se trata de un termostato inalámbrico que se conecta por bluetooth de larga distancia con el móvil. Mide temperatura y humedad con la frecuencia que tú elijas y lleva en la parte de atrás un imán para poder fijarlo en alguna superficie metálica. Después de unos dÃas de uso he podido comprobar las variaciones de temperatura y humedad de mi terraza y asà poder proteger mejor las plantas que allà tengo. Supongo que al no llevar pantalla, las pilas le darán una mayor autonomÃa. Decir que creo que las mediciones son bastante fiables y que si estás dentro del radio de acción del bluetooth puedes ver la lectura de temperatura y humedad en tiempo real.Para el uso que lo necesito me ha parecido una buena compra, estoy muy contento.
