Functional, but only for flight. No protection for storage. It goes on and off with ease.

Recently got a Flip and I wanted some kind of quick access gimbal protector for it. This showed up in my search. I feel like Iâm the first or only one to buy this product since itâs new. But it does its job and it did protect the Flipâs gimbal while I put my Flip inside just a beanie and in and out of my backpack. It does not block any view or anything on my footage.When I think about it now, Iâve had some kind of weird thing happening when I connect my Flip with the RC2 controller. Every time it Returns To Home, it starts flying away from me. And when I press forward on my controller, it goes backwards. I am not too sure if this thing covering the internal signals or anything within it, messes up the controller signals and helped cause this fly away issue. When Iâm just using the Phone and just hand launching the Flip, it has worked fine and well. Like I said, I dunno if this helped caused issues or my RC2 just need some calibrating with the Flip. Lastly, I saw the same product half off on other sites but I trust Amazon more.
