This little printer packs a punch
This is an excellent little lightweight printer that still packs a punch. It is compatible with transfer paper that’s 3.15″ wide (supplied with 30 sheets). The definition is excellent and more than acceptable for transfers. Its so tiny and lightweight travelling is a breeze with it in my bag. Its obviously limited by the size of the paper but for most scenarios and smaller tattoos it is perfect. Its easy to pair via the downladable Phomemo App. I have a Phomemo printer that is now 2 years old and still as good as when i brought it.

    🖨️ Tattoo Ideas Made Easy!
This little thermal tattoo printer is so much fun to use! ✒️📱 It connects easily to my phone, and the prints come out sharp and clean, perfect for stenciling. I’ve used it for a few temporary tattoo designs and it works like a charm. Great for artists or just having fun at home with some DIY body art. Comes with plenty of transfer sheets too, which is a nice touch.

simple way to create stencils with clear and reliable results
This compact handheld printer fits easily in my hand and feels solid thanks to its sturdy plastic body and responsive buttons. Connecting via Bluetooth to my phone was quick and simple, and the Phomemo app lets me edit images by mirroring, cropping, or combining multiple elements before printing. The included thermal transfer paper is thick and does not tear when applying to the skin. Print quality is sharp with clean, even lines and no smudging, and since it uses heat instead of ink, there is no need to worry about refills. After just a few days of use the battery level hardly moved, even with several stencil prints each evening. To make a stencil, I select the design in the app, set the size, and press print — the transfer sheet is ready in about a minute. Transferring the stencil onto skin is easy and leaves no unwanted marks. The kit comes with thirty sheets, a Type-C cable, and clear instructions. During printing it stays cool and makes almost no noise. For anyone into tattoo art who wants a simple way to create stencils, this printer delivers clear, reliable results without fuss.

    Great bit of kit
Finally got around to using this. The printer is small, so only good for small tattoo transfers (or many parts of a larger piece), however the print is fantastic. An app is available to download and from what I can see it is free, and allows you to print off your own images should you wish. The app has an AI companion of sorts, where you can generate a handful of AI images every day/week. You can get more by paying for the subscription on google play. The printer comes with a USB lead for charging, and doesnt take long. You can unplug the printer and move it around when required. The printer is fully controlled from the app,, so you must have a mobile that can run the app to use it. The app itself is easy to use and straight forward. The printer comes with a pack of printable transfer-paper, and the prints themselves come out looking great. The printer uses the heat/laser method of transferring the design to the paper for skin transfer, and the transfers are easily added to any transfer gel with no fuss.Overall very happy. Bit small, but for small designs or parts of designs this is a great bit of kit.

    Reviewed to help you 🫶🏻
I’ve been using the Phomemo TP31 Tattoo Printer for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. As a beginner tattoo artist, I was looking for a reliable stencil printer that wouldn’t break the bank — and this one exceeded my expectations.Setup was a breeze. The Bluetooth connection worked seamlessly with my phone, and the app is super intuitive. Within minutes, I was printing clean, crisp stencils. The quality of the prints is excellent — clear lines with no smudging or fade, which makes placing and tattooing so much easier. It’s also lightweight and portable, which is perfect for artists who travel or work in different studios. The pack includes 30 sheets of transfer paper, which is a huge plus to get started right away without buying extras.Whether you’re a professional or just starting out, I honestly think this is a must-have tool. It’s reliable, easy to use, and saves a ton of time. Highly recommended for anyone serious about clean, efficient tattoo prep!

Compact Portable Battery Powered Printer for Narrow/Small Designs
This tattoo stencil printer is quite compact (14*7*5.5cm, weighing only 361g) and can be used on the go as it’s battery power operated (2200mAh). It can work while it charges (via USB-C port on the side; a rather short cable comes in the box – 30cm long) – no worries at all and it stays stable even on high gloss surfaces thanks to four rubber pads on the bottom. There are 31 pieces of transfer paper sheets that came with it (about 80*135mm), which work fine (follow the instruction leaflet) – keep in mind you’ll need stencil transfer gel to get it on the skin and the ink isn’t that easy to get off afterwards (in case you’re just trying out different designs to decide what exactly you’d like to get done). The maximum paper size this portable printer can use is as stated (80mm), so it suitable for narrow/small designs only. Starting up and working with the device is fairly simple with only two buttons on the printer: one to power it on/off (doubles as light indicator) and another to open the cover and feed paper. Everything else you do is accessible through phone application (free to download and use), including pairing the devices (wireless – via Bluetooth) – no need for registration, which was a pleasant surprise and all the available features are accessible – it’s all free. There you can import and tweak/adjust the image with pretty much the standard basic tools (crop, mirror image, background remover, saturation, contrast, brightness, rotation, resizing, transfer lines sketching, three levels of print design colour thickness and so on, but nothing out of the ordinary). The print image quality is fine (at about 200dpi), and the lines are sharp and clear. The printer is thermal, so it doesn’t require ink – just mentioning it to clarify the only consumable is the transfer paper. It’s easy to use and doesn’t take much space, the app is working smooth too, so I’m happy with its performance.

I got the TP31 tattoo printer today, and I’m honestly so impressed with how well it works right out of the box. It’s compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry around — perfect for when I’m working in different spots or at events. The design is sleek and simple, and the rechargeable battery is a huge plus. I love that it charges with USB-C, and the battery life seems solid so far.The printing itself is super fast — it takes less than 10 seconds to print a design, and the lines come out clean and sharp. It makes transferring designs so much easier and quicker than traditional sketching, especially for small tattoos.Setup was easy too. It connected to my phone through Bluetooth without any issues, and the Phomemo app is surprisingly good. The app has a bunch of handy tools like AI tattoo design, a materials library, and preview options. It’s intuitive and makes editing designs a fun process instead of a chore. One thing to note: it only works with transfer paper that’s 3.15″ wide, but the printer comes with 30 sheets to start you off. I had to trim a couple of my older papers, but it wasn’t a big deal.Overall, I’m super happy with this little machine. It’s perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. If you’re looking for something portable, easy to use, and reliable for clean stencil transfers, I’d definitely recommend giving this a try!

The Phomemo TP31 is a neat little thermal transfer printer in a compact form factor. I like that it doesn’t take up much space on a desk and is easy to store when not in use. The printer feels well built and solid. It gives the impression of being a tool and not just a toy, which is great! The overall print quality is good, but relies heavily on how well you process your image prior to printing. High contrast is needed for good clean edges. Grayscale often results in visible dots and lines in the print. I edited my test image to improve the contrast by pushing the black levels and exposure up in an image editing program. The test image and resulting print are shown in my attached image. The printer is a bit noisy during printing, but the print is completed relatively quickly, so I don’t consider the noise a big issue. For reference, my test print completed in about 8 seconds. With all that having been said, I am really disappointed that the functionality of this printer is limited by needing to download and install Phomemo’s “app”. There is absolutely no support for using this device with a computer. This is a thermal transfer printer like many others on the market, and there’s no reason to completely forego a PC driver. You should be critical and skeptical about any software you install on your mobile device, and this app is no exception. I would never use this device in any kind of professional setting for this reason. I installed the app on a spare Android device that is never connected to the internet in order to perform the testing for this review.Overall I think the product itself is good and performs well, but being forced to use a mobile app which, privacy and security concerns aside, could stop working or be taken down at any time, limits this to a maximum of four stars.

This is a great little mini tattoo printer machine. I love the Phomemo brand, and it’s great to be able to get this from them.—PROS—-Compact size – light and great for mobile use-Bluetooth connected so easily via the Phomemo app (an app I already had and process I was familiar with due to owning other Phomemo products)-Comes with 30 sheets of transfer paper-Battery life seems great so far, but easy to charge with USB-C battery pack on the go if needed-Prints pretty quick-The Phomemo app is easy to use, including importing your own art. It has a great gallery of included art as well.-I found it really easy to load the paper—CONS—-Due to compact size, it has limitations on print size as well. To be expected – not really a con!-Looks like it might be a bit hard to find replacement papers exactly the same size, but I did find them on Amazon-A bit loudNone of the cons I listed is really anything notable, so I still give this little powerhouse five stars! It’s user friendly, portable and works well.

A lot of tattoo transfer printers require A7 sheets to print, which results in a lot of waste, especially if you are only doing one small piece. They are also, inherently, twice the size of this little guy. What a difference it makes to use the smaller transfer paper; less cutting, less waste and less space taken up overall. A charge should last a long while as well, with 3 full prints, I haven’t needed to charge mine at all yet.I find that transfer fluid helps these stick to the skin and should have been included, but, it isn’t a deal breaker.Recommended for small pieces

Very easy to use with the phone through their app. With the PC you need to install some drivers from their website but you can make it work through cable connection. It’s more compact than other alternatives and very portable. It comes with some transfer paper.
