Good Bulbs
Like all genuine Philips Hue products or accessories those bulbs are great quality. I have about a dozen Hue lights around the house and they have worked perfectly for several years, so decided to bite the bullet and do the 9 spotlights in the kitchen.I’ve tried various cheaper options in the past with mixed results, making Hue the only sensible choice. I bought 9 of them (3 boxes of 3), and of course they all worked perfectly, linked to the Hue Bridge (and Homey Hub by Matter).I might be £150 poorer, but I have great lights in my kitchen.

Can’t beat Hue bulbs for quality and 3 pack is great value for money
Having used the Hue bulbs now for a while. Very easy to set up and add to the app. Can use presets to find your perfect ambiance. These are for my downlight on my porch. Having looked around was cheaper to but the GU10 outdoor lights and these bulbs than the non replaceable ones as I can replace the bulbs if needed. And the Hue ones were quite expensive for 2 fittings. They give a good light spread when on full but to save money i have set to Arctic auora as don’t need that much light. Bulbs are easily recycled at your local facilities when the time comes.

Philips Hue is king
Great product, works really well. I love these Philips Hue products so much I changed all lights in the house. It cost me a fortune but itâs well worth it. I tried cheaper options before and it was terrible. Donât make the same mistake, remember, cheap is expensive. Philips is a great brand and line of products and itâs worth every penny youâll spend on it.

Without doubt these bulbs are extortionately expensive, and I can’t quite understand how Philips can justify charging so much for these bulbs. Even after saying all that, these have become my go to smart bulb of choice, because they always work. No kerfuffle, no messing around with downloading apps just tell Alexa to look for the new bulbs and it’s done. I guess that’s how Philips, if asked, would justify the price.

Easy installation & integration.
I wanted the facility to control my kitchen lights remotely & these offered the perfect solution. An unexpected bonus is that I can now turn the lights on or off even when my hands are full, or wet.The only difficulty I encountered was removing one of the old bulbs but from then on it was all remarkably easy. I have chosen a Warm setting for all but like that I am able to increase the brightness of just one, should I require additional light in a particular area of my kitchen.

Easy integration with Alexa
Having already replaced the majority of bulbs in our house with Hue bulbs, it was time to source four replacement bulbs for the halogen GU10 bulbs in the kitchen (two twin packs). The existing bulbs were LEDs, so this was not done to reduce electricity costs but to go for 100% Hue integration. Although most of our Hue bulbs are full colour, weâve found that we very rarely use anything other than shades of white so I chose the White Ambiance rather than the White and Colour bulbs which are around twice the cost.Swapping the bulbs is as easy as swapping any similar GU10 bulb, although I did have to replace the light switch as the existing one was a dimmer type.The new bulbs were quickly found by the Hue app and then device discovery was run through Alexa. Again, this was straightforward and the four bulbs were recognised straight away, named and then given their own group name for voice control. They are also compatible with our the Hive app too.If youâre looking for smart GU10 spotlight bulbs which are compatible with the Hue bridge, Hive and Alexa then these will do all of that with relative ease.I hope you found this review helpful.

Can’t go wrong with Hue
Can’t go wrong with Philips Hue in my opinion, I use Hue bulbs throughout my house, I’ve only had a couple of bulbs fail that were around 9-10 years old. As soon as I plugged these in, I searched in the app, and added them to the correct room/group.

Excellent
I was waiting for a normal GU10 LED bulb to go in my hallway to give me an excuse to replace all three with this set. And it finally happened! I have an old hub so wasnât sure if they work as these are called âBluetoothâ bulbs. But itlooks like itâs Bluetooth plus zigbee as they work perfectly in my setup. Really like setting different colour temperatures for different times of the day, and the nightlight setting is useful too.
