Transformed the range of our Wi-Fi
Havenât written a review for years but this really spread our Wi-Fi in our homeYou wouldnât think but in a 100 year old home I could not get a Wi-Fi signal in the furthest bedroom, and oh boy was this the answer, with Virgin due to volt had 2 Mesh Extenders but they go greedy with the price so now with a local Fibre provider with 500GB for £30 a monthFrom opening the box to having a new Wi-Fi network with all 3 set up with the app tool 20 mins, in living room get the full 500GB and in the bedroom where I got no Wi-Fi now get 170GBSet up was a doddle, now get 70GB in Garden to, paid £79.99 and can highly recommend these I am not disappointed, on really troublesome device was the PS Portal and now it works perfectlyIf you have read this far your looking for a set up like this, all I can say is buy it

Amazing! Beats everything else ive tried
One of the best purchases I have ever made. Had a real issue with the signal in my daughter’s bedroom, I’ve tried range extenders and plug in boosters before with absolutely no success but since I have used these it’s been unbelievably amazing! In a 4 bed house from downstairs one side of the house to upstairs otherside of the house it covers it all!

Reasonably priced solution for good WiFi coverage
Very easy to set up – just download the app and follow the instructions. I brought an additional Ethernet lead and linked it to the first unit in a different room to the router which gave me the advantage of spreading the signal strength further without any loss in performance. I then have the advantage of linking to the router or the mesh.The downside is that the power leads are short so you may need to use additional extension leads.If possible, try to link each unit with a minimum amount of walls or barriers in the way. I found it better to place the upstairs unit directly above the first downstairs unit which gave me adequate signal strength.I lost some speed on the 2nd and 3rd unit but nothing significantI like the fact that I can buy an additional unit in the future if I need to expand my signal further and itâs easy to connect them to the existing mesh.Definitely value for money.

I was going to take a star off because it doesn’t have wifi6 but then I thought, I paid £59.99 and at that price you’re not going to get wifi6, I live in a 2 bedroom flat or apartment for the Americans amongst us, and my network suppled router was really not meeting my demands especially for things like the smart cameras outside the property even though they are literally no more than 40ft away, so I decided to dive into mesh technology and this system really made a big difference, to be honest I could have done with the 3 pack but unfortunately a 1 pack costs as much as the 2 pack, that being said this system my first experience with mesh has fixed a lot of WiFi issues I had at the the outer regions of my small flat.The App is really good once you get used to it, when I first set it up a lot of smart home tech or IoT don’t work with 5ghz WiFi so to set them up you need to turn 5g off, I eventually found it under the more tab bottom right then wifi, one tip I can give is if you have a lot of smart home tech like me, bulbs, power sockets, hubs, door locks as well as computers and mobile devices, connect them one at a time and check the name they show up as and change it if you need to, so you know what the device is otherwise if you just start connecting devices without paying attention you’ll have a load of devices showing up as unknown device, then you’ve got another headache.I like that I can use the app to check the network from anywhere I have Internet connection but I wish there was the ability to run a network speed check and also you should be able to pause connected devices which would be advantageous if you did need to check out a device you don’t recognise, at the moment you can block a device but it’s not really a self explanatory way of going about it, like I’m still not sure if by blocking a device you completely remove its credentials.On the whole at this price £59.99 the AC1900 (2 Pack) is definitely a good way to start your journey into the world of mesh because I’m sure you’ll get to the point were you’ll want to upgrade to a stronger, faster mesh system as technology progresses.If you’re new to mesh this is a great inexpensive mesh system to start with, think about the size of your property and where you can place the nodes to decide the kind of coverage you need, but it’s definitely worth trying this system as you’ll learn a few things without shelling out too much.
