I knew this was the real deal when the box showed up and it was HEAVY. I’ve setup dozens, if not hundreds, of racks in my day. I spent decades in the A/V industry, so this is very much a major comfortability for me.The construction is on-par, or even better in some case, than more expensive brands. It’s important because for me, this was going into my own office, so it needed to be top quality.I have been hearing a lot of buzz about this company recently, as their products are really getting some attention. And for my own personal home office, I wanted something in white, which could handle my AI and Video servers. This rack is PERFECT.Everything you need to get this bad boy setup is included, the only thing I wish came in the box were casters, but that seems to be a different model number all together. No worries, I found a way to make that work.Every side of the rack is accessible. Rear, sides and front. During installation, I quickly noticed that the rack posts are not threaded, and require additional items to mount hardware with rack screws. They include a bunch in the box which will definitely get you going, but luckily I have many more in my garage after years in an industry that used this. Others may be caught off guard by this. No big deal for me.The glass panel is crystal clear, without any flaws. It looks gorgeous and is bulky (which is good). I have no concerns with air management, there are top and bottom vents, along with vents on the sides, that all work well with fans you can mount/install inside of the top panel. Having fans/vents down low could have helped pull cooler in, which is a feature I like on similar racks, but this one is fine with its air management. The spacing and sizing for rack equipment is true and level across all posts. Again, something you don’t realize is important until you have equipment that is sensitive to being level.Overall, I happen to love this rack, even though the construction was a bit quirky. Specifically, the way parts of the rack attach to each other requires odd angles, and tight spaces. I ended up using a different tool set than what comes with the rack just to make it easier to construct. Not a big deal, just a personal preference.Fantastic unit, very well made, high quality materials and the rack is SUPER sturdy and solid. Couldn’t be happier. It also lights up very nicely with LED’s too… 😉

Some edges were damaged in shipping. The Glass door does not close properly. The latch works fine, however the door must be forced closed. I can make it work, too much effort to ship it back.

This is a really nice looking rack – or maybe I’m just used to seeing black server racks all the time that the white is a nice change of pace. The downside is that it will absolutely show scratches so make sure you’re careful. Assembly isn’t too difficult but having the right tools (a ratcheting screwdriver and 1/2 socket will help quite a bit, in addition to the included allen wrench) definitely makes the job easier. The first couple steps (assembling the bottom/top/frame) are pretty straightforward and easy. Although I wish I’d have thought about the depth I wanted the posts to be at before I got to that step – it would have been a little easier partially assembling before having to squeeze in there to tighten everything. I also wouldn’t recommend putting those posts at the furthest points at the front and back, as neither leaves much space in between whatever you mount and the front/rear panel. On the topic of the rear panel, that’s probably my only complaint about this rack. It screws in with six screws to hold it in place, making it a pain to get access from there – but if you’re mounting this on a wall, then you’re not going to be accessing from the back panel anyway. The side panels are easy to remove and I assume that’s how they expect you to access the back of any mounted devices – which, if your device is deep enough, may be a bit of a pain to get behind. On that note, I’m not sure why this needs four posts instead of two – I don’t know what would be heavy and yet shallow enough to use all four (my switches, firewall, patch panel, and shallow shelf going into this all only need two posts). This is otherwise a pretty nice rack for the price, looks nice with the front glass panel, and also has the fan mounting points at the top for cooling. I do wish the wire access panels on the top and bottom would have been a little smaller for two slots each, instead of one long slot, but that’s just my preference. There are also a decent amount of cage nuts, screws, and washers for mounting devices included as well.

This cabinet has plenty of room for network gear, is relatively easy to assemble, and looks great under a white/wood desk.I would have preferred a deeper unit, but this works for network gear. Keep in mind that while the product itself is 17.7″ deep, that is not the fully useable space considering the walls and rack position. The vertical rails can be installed with a maximum separation of 15″. The installation guide suggests a separation of 11.5″ or less in order to allow for a horizontal stabilizer. The gap space is adjustable with standard cage nuts to increase or decrease the distance or to move the rack further forward or further back to allow for your cabling. The adjustment is nice, but I had hoped to fit a small server inside which is not possible even with the maximum separation. But that’s my use case, yours may be different. The build quality is good. I thought I scratched the product a couple of times during unboxing and assembly. However, there are no visible marks. That tells me it is sturdy enough for standard daily use.The color is really quite nice. Do keep in mind most equipment, shelves, and accessories come in standard black. White accessories are a little harder to find and may be a little more expensive. However, it’s worth it for the clean office look. There is also plenty of space inside for my next project – LED lighting. The mounting bracket and included gear are impressive. Simply mount the bracket to the wall, then slip the cabinet onto the bracket, and secure it with a couple of screws. However, in my application, I kept it on the floor. This product has no wheels or feet nor place to mount them. I’m considering using some aftermarket casters with self drilling screws. There is a different version from NavePoint that has a more secure base that base that accepts optional wheels. This version has not mount point for legs or wheels. It also lacks the horizontal stability of the better model which allows for some diagonal flexing. The result is the door doesn’t align properly when you close it so you need to lift a little to compensate for the sag. If not wheels, I plan to correct it with wooden legs and maybe leveling screws. The side panels are removable and also come with a lock keyed to the same key that opens the front panel.Fantastic network cabinet that really looks outstanding in white.
