Iâve had JVC gumy plus earphones before and these are nothing like the quality Iâve had before. The packaging was damaged and the label on the front all torn. They are uncomfortable and the sound is grim. They fall out and you can hear people talking who are nearby when they are being worn. Wish I sent them back because JVCs standards are gone downhill if that what they are

Not as advertised in the photos
The purple version is fully purple in the pictures. In the version sent to me only the earbuds are purple – the rest being white and unattractive. Very disappointing

I always buy gummy headphones because they’re colourful and I mix it up each time I need to replace. The image of the purple shows the wire the same colour. I believe these are a cheap knock off version because as you can see from my picture the wire is a cheap white and the microphone part looks like its barely holding together. I’m not normally fussy and my usual stockist has disappeared off the site. So I just bought from this one straight away. I can see now that if I’d read reviews first then I should not have purchased from this one. I will keep them as spares but that’s all they’re good for tbh

First, mine are completely purple from the gummy thingy to the 3.5 mm plug.I deduct stars because I have several previous versions of jvc marshmallow in ears and I think they are much better in size for sleeping with them (falling asleep while listening to music or audio books) and more comfortable to wear long term. The connection to the phone is a little crackly if you touch it, which is probably due to the packaging (newer versions have a different packaging that is better on the headphones). I also prefer the sound and noise cancellation of the older marshmallow versions (however, the bluetooth headphone version of jvc gumy is awesome). The remote control only does play/pause and phone call options, not what is said in the package. I am not an iphone user, so it might actually work for those. However, phone call quality is good.
