Exact Output To That Specified
Perfect. Just exactly what I needed to power the amplifier in my virtual pinball table.I measured the output with my multimeter and it was putting out a solid 12 volts & 2 amps. Exactly the spec ai needed, so it has powered my amp perfectly since. Very useful set of nibs so you can change the type of male port needed. Itâs too early to know about longevity, but I put a hand on it after an hour long pinball session and it was no more than warm. Excellent, and totally recommended.

Works but, in my tests, did not achieve the full 2A output
I was offered this 12V Power Supply, free of charge, for an honest review under the ‘Vine’ Program.As an Electronics hobbyist/Repairer, I am always in need of Power supplies so was happy to evaluate this one. My first observation was how lightweight this product is (not a good sign). Unloaded, the Power Supply delivered 12.15V. I then tested using my âElectronic Loadâ (a device that allows me to draw a set voltage and steady increase the current draw to determine the behaviour of a power supply under load).This Power Supply was happy to draw 1.7 Amps (20.4 Watts) without any significant drop in voltage, though it did get a little warmer than expected. After that, the voltage delivered started to fall and warmth increased. Personally, I would not want to use to power devices that need to run close to the 12V 2A (24 Watts) for any extended period. Indeed, when I requested 1.95 Amps, the delivered Voltage dropped out altogether.The Power supply does come with a reasonably useful set of adapters and would probably be OK for many devices that only require up to around 1.5 Amps or so but I would have no confidence above that. I have not tested electrical noise levels.
