A very traditional looking laptop bag that’s a break from the traditional canvas/ polyester ones
This bag for me is a blast from the past. It reminds me of my old college satchel, which was a genuine leather bag of similar form factor.This bag, however, houses a laptop well – and is designed for that purpose – with adequate padding and protection.The leather-like outer material is hardwearing and water resistant, and the bag has a aged leather-like weight to it which is not an issue. It looks like leather, feels like leather. And to finish off the traditional look are some aged metal fitments to detail.Lots of pockets and storage, and visually a real treat!Good value at just under £40, given a decent canvas/ fabric laptop bag will set you back a similar price.

Great as a laptop or medical bag
This is a very nice leatherette bag which although good as a laptop bag, can come into its own if you’re undergoing long-term medical treatment such as chemotherapy, as there’s room for medicines, paperwork (lots of that), book or tablet in there.Starting from the front, we have:-A top-opening front pocket, big enough for A5 booklets.An almost-fully-openable (across and down the sides) pocket big enough for an iPad and some larger paperwork (but not A4), with dual zippers. This pocket has three main inner pockets (the largest of which will take an iPad) plus spaces for four business or credit cards and a strap for clipping on a few pens or pencils. There’s also a lanyard in here which can for example hook onto a set of keys. With the zips fully opened the pocket can open to approx. 30 degrees for ease of access without dropping anything out.A large top-opening (and slightly down the sides) pocket with storage for a laptop plus space for an A4 folder. This pocket can easily handle documents, medicines, anything you need.Rounding off the bag itself is a rear strap which allows it to be attached for example to the extending handle of a travel case.A quality bag deserves a quality strap and this one seems to come up with the goods, with an overlapping sprung clasp at each end. Hard to describe, the photos give a better idea.All in all a good looking bag that appears designed to last.
