Not for Asus laptops.
Using this adaptor will corrupt the buffer of the print output of Asus laptops if you are using the RG45 Lan output.I have tried a number of adaptors and most have this problem.

Ottimo adattatore, realizzato in metallo, super resistente, leggero, veloce. L’ho collegato al tablet ed è stato necessario un alimentatore esterno. Per lavorare con la TV, è necessario che l’uscita del portatile abbia il supporto della modalità DP Alt (compatibile con Thunderbolt 3).

Alle features funktionieren einwandfrei unter Linux Manjaro.Wichtig: Beim HP probook x360 435 G7 (USB-C Gen2 + DP alternate mode, kein thunderbolt 3!) muss zunächst hochauflösende Bildschirmübertragung im BIOS aktiviert werden, sonst funktioniert kein Displayport bei keinem USB-C dock und der laptop stürzt ab !!!#####NACHTRAG nach 1 Jahr Nutzung: Auch Macbook wird unterstützt.Habe mir das Ding gleich ein zweites mal für die Arbeit gekauft. Nutze es nun auch für Macbook pro M1. Alles funktioniert: Ton, Bild (1440p), Internet, etc.Das Dock wird aber schnell heiÃ, aber es hält immer noch trotz ganztägiger Nutzung. Damit mir dieses tolle Dock nicht kaputt geht, habe ich mir Kühlkörper (für SSDs) gekauft, die ich nun draufklebe.Wer ein USB-C Verlängerungskabel für das Acer Dock sucht, das hier leistet gute Arbeit (obwohl der Kontakt könnte besser sitzen):https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B0797NFD2K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1Bei den Verlängerungskabeln schön drauf achten, dass USB 3.1 gen 2 (USB 3.2 Gen 2×1, 10 GBit/s) unterstützt wird! Everything ok except the network drop. I bought this to have direct wired connection to my laptop and dual display. Although network connection is with RJ45, network drops and so I get thrown out of my office calls. Bad choice.
