Perfect for Desk Recordings
This tripod is a brilliant solution for recording myself while seated at my desk with my phone. Before this, I was using a ring light with a stand and phone holder. The issue I found with that setup was that the phone sat directly in the centre of the circular light, which I don’t believe yields the best lighting for the shot. I prefer having the camera offset, particularly as I favour classic three-point lighting. What I truly appreciate about this tripod is that it allows me to position the camera completely independently from my lighting setup.I don’t typically record myself while out and about, but I gave it a go with this stick, and it worked quite nicely. I also experimented with getting low to film my RC cars, but to be honest, it’s a tad short for that purpose and not really designed for it. However, since I often use a selfie stick for such shots, I had to give it a try.For desk recordings, the height range is spot on. The head rotation functions wonderfully, feeling very smooth, and the locking mechanism is reliable. It’s relatively lightweight, which I see as an advantage for my desk setup. Out in the open, though, it could easily topple over, so I’d opt for something more robust when I’m working with my RC cars. The remote control is a fantastic feature. I was previously relying on a countdown timer on my camera, so this definitely saves me some precious time.My only minor complaint is that the holder doesn’t fit my phone when it’s in its usual case. I need to remove the case, which isn’t a massive hassle for me. I feel confident that my phone will be perfectly safe on the stand without its case while recording at my desk. All in all, this is a splendid solution for my desk recording needs.

Good quality mini tripod/selfie stick
The head on this tripod is surprisingly high quality bearing the price in mind. Its very smooth and locks up securely, allowing you to quickly and easily set the position of the camera. Its a little on the light side and along with the small base, I wouldn’t trust this outside on a windy day, or with anything heavier than a small camera or phone.

lightweight and very handy
This is an amazingly versatile selfie stick and tripod for action cameras and phones alike it comes with a ball head and a phone mount, the tripod legs feel weak but hold up great and help reduce overall weight and the selfie stick is more than long enough for vlogs on my action camera, overall really happy with it as it can go in pocket and I do not even notice it.

Okay as a selfie stick
This is a reasonably well made mini tripod and selfie stick in one, designed to hold a mobile phone in either use. It comes with a small remote that paired immediately with my iPhone. The holder only just fits my phone with the case in place, but only just is good enough, but does mean it probably wonât fit if you have one of the more rugged cases in use. It is mostly a secure fit, but occasionally the ball joint works loose even when I have fully tightened it, which means my phone moves out of position; it isnât in danger of falling out of the holder, but does need to be readjusted to point in the correct direction. What this does mean is that I am unlikely to trust the tripod function as a moving phone is likely to make it fall over with the shifting centre of gravity. It is okay as a selfie stick, but I would not trust it for use as a tripod.

The stick and tripod is great, the clamp is useless for a big phone in a case
The selfie stick and tripod work quite well. It’s not a very long stick but it’s probably enough for most people. Get a ruler and hold it out in front of you and see if you think that 34 cm is far enough away for you to use this. The tripod is easy to fold out and pack away and very stable on a flat surface. The clamp lets this down though, as it’s plastic, and the grips aren’t wide enough for a flagship phone in a case. In fact, the springs are stiff and it’s hard to open it wide enough to clamp the phone. Because the depth of the clamp is quite shallow the rubber pads that grip the side of the phone don’t do a good job with a big phone in a case.If you can find a better clamp or have one already, or your phone is small or you don’t keep it in a case, you’ll probably be fine but it could be a problem.

This is absolutely perfect. It takes up such little space on my desk and the way the tripod closes into a handle is genius! Makes it so easy to go from vlogging at the desk or at a table to going handheld. It’ll be even better when we go from “Chaos to Croissants” on YT.

This is a simple, easy to use selfie stick that is easy to carry and use. It also features a cleaver handle grip that splits into 3-legs allowing the stick to function as a small, tabletop tripod. The kit includes the small, extendable selfie stick, a cell phone holder/mount and the Bluetooth shutter release. The selfie stick by itself features a small, rotating ball head attached to the top of the extending handle. The ball head includes a round mounting plate and a standard 1/4″ threaded screw that is adaptable to many compact cameras, and photo accessories. The ball head is cheaply made, and its operation is a little stiff, but it gets the job done. The cell phone holder is made of plastic and features a stiff internal spring and silicone grippers (top, bottom & back) to hold your phone securely. The holder can be used for selfies in a landscape orientation. The holder does not rotate to allow selfies in a portrait orientation. However, when the stick is used as a tripod, the holder can be repositioned to work in portrait mode. The selfie stick works as describe on the website. It’s lightweight and made for phones and possibly small, pocket-sized cameras. I really like the size and weight of this selfie stick which really enable you to bring it anywhere. The extension is limited but from my experiments it long enough for 1-3 person selfies with no problems. For broader images, the stick is not long enough, but you can set it up on a table or countertop to use as a tripod. So, it has you covered.Adding the legs to the selfies stick really enhances it useability. Now it can easily function as a tabletop tripod allowing you to position it for group pictures, close up or whatever occasion you have. In tripod mode, it was strong enough to hold my compact Sony RX100. For this use, I may invest in a better phone holder/mount which can be rotated from portrait to landscape orientation. The Bluetooth shutter release is one of the better one’s I’ve used. It actually has an On/Off button which allows you to turn it off when not being used. Set up is pretty intuitive but be sure to read the simple instructions sheet just in case. This is a nice little selfie stick. It’ biggest attraction is its weight and size. You can carry this in your jacket pocket or backpack and hardly notice it. Its built fairly well and offers great versatility – especially for this price point. I I would Recommend it for phone and lightweight camera use.

I admit that the low price point had me very skeptical especially because it comes with a remote, but my teenage daughter and her friends were going away, and needed equipment to document the trip their adventure for posterity(and of course, some of it for their SM despite parental warnings of the immortality of the internet, and creepy creepers, but I digress). The first thing that struck me is despite being extremely light weight, all of the fasteners are powder coated aluminum alloy-easy to use, and very durable. Transitions from camera to phone function takes seconds, and from tri-pod to selfie stick even less. This equipment, a camera, chargers, SD cards and 2 rolls of film all fit nicely in a 7â toiletry bag. The only thing that I would recommend is taking care not to adjust the tri-pod height while itâs standing because the legs are made of plastic, unlike the rest of the body. âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸

I like this selfie stick. It’s a decent carry size and is built decent for the price. Everything seems to function well. The inclusion of the tripod is a nice bonus feature. The tripod holds the phone secure and does have little rubber feet that keep it from sliding. It is a little too heavy in the tripod position, but not terribly so, even with the stick extended.I didn’t have any problems getting my phone into the holder and it has nice rubber grips to protect your device. The remote shutter connected right away via Bluetooth. It took pictures and started video if you hold the button in. I’ve had one of the remote buttons before and they work great if you can keep from losing them.My only issues are the length of the stick and the quality of the tripod “hinges”. The stick is only about 12″ fully extended. I’m sure that will be fine for most situations, but it could be a concern depending on what you could be trying to get in the picture behind you. The tripod hinges definitely concern me. They simply snap apart and spread out to make the tripod. They stop automatically where they are supposed to for proper tripod balance. This plastic is pretty cheap and you can definitely tell it wouldn’t take much to snap the legs off. I wouldn’t put any downward pressure on the legs. For instance, if you have the tripod out and the stick extended, do not push down on the stick to collapse it. I am pretty confident the legs are weaker than the friction that is present in the telescoping stick. I didn’t want to prove this, because once it’s broke it’s useless. Just be aware of these cheap legs and the device should be fine
