Attractive looking and effective portable fan with powerful top speeds and quiet overnight
From the perspective of a woman who has recently been put into artificial menopause by Prostap injections and is having aaaaalllll the fun of hot flushes, this misting fan is absolutely amazing. And I really liked the range of pastel colours this came in. I opted for the blue version and had thought from the product images that it didn’t look as much as though it was two tones of the same colour as the other pastel versions, but can confirm this is two shades of blue. This isn’t a particularly large fan, but is a decent table top size and is very sturdily made. The fan feels nice and steady on its feet and its looks are cute. This is quite lightweight and the top handle makes the fan really easy to move about. The fan has a good range of variable speeds and the misting function has two settings – constant and intermittent. On the lowest two power settings this is really quiet: I have no trouble using the first setting as an overnight option with the fan pointed at me. It definitely helped with my current heat regulation problems and didn’t disturb my OH. This gives just a gentle breeze, but is noticeable.By the third of the speed settings, this is getting appreciably noisy, and at its highest level this is really roaring – but also delivering a powerful blast of cooling air.The misting function isn’t directly variable for the amount of mist delivered, and I was initially a bit surprised by how strong the jet is, but then realised that this is more concentrated when the fan is on lower speeds, with more powerful settings the wind behind it diffuses it more. It makes a little bit of a hissing sound when active. The only direct control for the misting function is whether it’s on fully, on intermittently, or turned off. I think this function will definitely be a benefit on warmer days and it certainly makes me feel better when I’m running warm, so it’s saving me on that front. I had been using both a fan and a humidifier during overnight hot flashes, but with this I have need of only one device. There is a cover over the mister right in the centre of the fanâs front, which needs to be lifted open when this is in use. The water tank, which is built in to the top of the fan, doesn’t hold a huge amount of liquid, so needs a bit of care when filling. The charging cable has a low voltage transformer. Somehow I had expected this to be white (perhaps from the pastel shades of the range), but in fact it’s black. The battery when fully charged lasts well – after running it overnight on low power there’s still plenty of juice remaining. The price point is quite high for a compact fan, or even for a rechargeable one. But this has added features such as the misting function, and waterproof cover for the connector pin, that make it particularly impressive. It’s so good it’s worth it.

Powerful, quiet and Compact
This is a great little fan. It’s compact, lightweight and very powerful. The noise levels are low and it’s well made. The only two small issues I have is that the water tank is quite small, so the mist runs out fast and a remote or app control would have been a nice addition. Apart from that I am genuinely impressed with this fan and can highly recommend it.

Small but impressive
Other reviews persuaded me to go for this and I don’t think I’ll regret it.The mist feature was one reason although I haven’t tried it yet, andwith our weather who knows when I’ll need to.I’ve found setting 3 is about right for me, it may be small but itreally does produce a good strong breeze and I’d say quieterthan a fan of similar power. It’s light, portable, adjustable and really does seem well made. How long the battery lasts on 3 I’ve yet to find out, there isan LED to give you a guide on remaining charge but so farI’ve run it off the mains.I can tell you there is a pretty decent amount of cable providedso you don’t have to set it up 6 inches from the socket. One thing I know is that eventually all fan blades collect dustand without cleaning that does impact performance. This looks to be a sealed unit so hopefully I can blast someair through it when required. There you have it,a neat well designed fan that appears to beworth the good reviews.

Powerful and Versatile, but Battery Life Could Be Better
Design & Portability:I bought the Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Cordless Fan (FA050UK) for its promise of portability and flexible cooling, and it really delivers on those fronts. The fan is compact and lightweight-easy to carry around the house or take outdoors for picnics or camping. The handle on the back makes it simple to move, and the sleek charcoal design looks great in any setting. Iâm very happy with how portable it is, and itâs also surprisingly sturdy and feels durable enough for outdoor use.Packaging:The packaging was solid and secure. The fan and accessories were well protected during shipping. Itâs clear that Shark put some thought into making sure the product would arrive safely. The item looked used though, as the packaging looked usedFeatures & Ease of Use:Setting up the fan was quick and straightforward, with clear controls for power, fan speed, and misting right on top of the unit. The built-in misting function is a standout feature, offering a refreshing cool-down without leaving surfaces wet. I like that you can choose between continuous or interval mist, and the water tank is easy to fill. The fan speeds and breeze modes give plenty of options for different situations, and the vertical tilt is handy for directing airflow.Performance:The fan is impressively powerful for its size. On the highest BreezeBoost setting, I could feel the airflow from across the garden-up to 20 metres as advertised. Even on lower speeds, itâs effective for personal cooling both indoors and out. The misting works well and is especially nice on hot days, lasting up to 55 minutes per fill. One thing to note: the fan doesnât oscillate, which would have been a nice extra feature.Noise & Battery Life:The fan is very quiet, even on higher settings. Iâve used it while sleeping and barely noticed any noise, which is a big plus. Battery life depends on the speed and misting use-on the lowest setting, it can last up to 12 hours, but at higher speeds or with misting, itâs closer to 1.5â4 hours. This is decent for short outings or indoor use, but if you need all-day cooling at high power, youâll likely need to recharge or keep it plugged in.Build Quality & Accessories:The build quality is excellent, with a rain-resistant and UV-resistant exterior that feels ready for outdoor use. The included charger works well, and there are optional accessories like a power bank and carry bag if you want to expand its portability. The remote control is a clever touch and attaches magnetically to the fan, so itâs hard to lose.Pros:- Powerful airflow for its size- Quiet operation, even at high speeds- Effective misting without wet surfaces- Lightweight and very portable- Durable and weather-resistant- Solid packaging- Simple setup and intuitive controlsCons:- Battery life at high speeds is limited- No oscillation feature- Water tank could be larger for longer misting sessionsOverall:The Shark FlexBreeze HydroGo Cordless Fan is a great choice if you want a portable, quiet, and powerful fan for both indoor and outdoor use. The misting feature is genuinely refreshing, and the fan is easy to move and use anywhere. Iâm happy with how portable it is, and the solid packaging gave me peace of mind when ordering. While the battery life at higher speeds could be better, and it lacks oscillation, itâs still one of the most versatile and effective portable fans Iâve tried. Iâd recommend it to anyone looking for flexible cooling on the go.
