Brilliant little gadgets
These are brilliant little gadgets !You get two in the packet , one with a red led and one with a blue ledThe idea is that you stick them to your dash or anywhere you want on your car/vehicle and it then appears that you have an alarm armed and ready !What I like about these are they are very smart , so they only come on in the dark as they have a light sensor , which to be honest is better , who would see them in daylight anyway ?They have a solar panel built in ! so self charge themselves with an internal battery , plus you can top them up or fully charge them via the USB C port if neededThere is a small switch on the side you can turn them off or onI love them , I have put the blue one in my motor-home and the red one in my van , I do have security measures on both vehicles already , but anything else extra to deter thieves is greatPlus getting two in the packet these are a bargain ,only niggle is that there are no instructionsI would recommend

These only activate in the dark
In the pitch dark these flash every four seconds or so – but only if its dark. If there is enough ambient light they do not flash.I think it would be better if the flashing were permanent especially given these can be topped up via a usb c cable. If you are parked next to a street light or in a lit car park then they don’t flash which kind of nullifys the point of them being a deterrent.That said they work just as advertised and at just over ten pounds for two aren’t bad value.

The great thing about them is that they are solar powered so you don’t leave them plugged in, but I do worry about them getting too hot inside a vehicle on a sunny day. So far so good. There’s two in the pack and they are a useful visual deterrent advising wouldbe burglars that there is an alarm fitted. It won’t deter serious thieves but it just might deter others. Worth a go anyway and not expensive.
