I really like this tablet. I use it mostly to read, browse the web and to play games. I also installed a micro sd card formovies. One of the reasons I chose this tablet was because unlike most tablets, it has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200. It has a great screen and the battery life is at least 3 times as much as my old tablet. I also like that it is a little narrower than my other 8 inch tablet because it makes it easier to hold.

I bought this to replace an earlier model Lenovo tab I really liked that met an untimely demise. It has a nice Full HD display. An adequate processor. Sufficient internal memory, and it CAN use a 1TB micro SD card. All good cred for a nice little media center running VLC. Well almost. It has a credible speaker, but only one. In my opinion, this was a dumb decision on lenovo’s part, especially when it’s predecessor had perfectly placed stereo speakers with dolby atmos sound. That one’s not available anymore, but had a lesser screen anyway so no effort to dig one up.In my opinion, there’s no excuse for any phone or tablet maker to make a media product with only one speaker. It’s 2022 and it’s not a hard problem to solve. So there’s my 4 star rating.I’ve seen other reviews reminding potential buyers that this might not be the powerhouse tablet to play games on – I agree they may not play smoothly, but they’ll look nice anyway. I’m not a gamer, and it plays recorded TV perfectly, and in stereo through bluetooth or the headphone jack.Recommended? Sure. Even without the stereo speakers. But you can’t get all the stars from me without ’em.And this is an honest review – no compensation involved.

Good tablet. Actually has full Android, and works well for younger children. Family Link works like a charm.

I purchased this tablet because I prefer the form factors that Android devices offer, and I wanted a smaller tablet than what I’ve used up to this point. I’m primarily using it for entertainment purposes, specifically for playing games. The games that I play are not extensive by any means – Lords Mobile, Blaze of Battle, Rise of Kings – and this tablet handles them, albeit with a few hiccups here and there. I also realize that my expectation for performance is somewhat biased because I’ve been using a 6th generation iPad for entertainment purposes, but as I mentioned, I prefer the form factor of Android devices. What makes this a decent tablet? The screen is wonderful, the build is excellent, and its weight makes it easy to hold. It also has decent sound, has a microSD slot for expanding storage, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack. I like that it offers face recognition to unlock the tablet. The tablet is currently running Android 10, though I’m unsure if it updated during setup or it came with it preinstalled. Either way, it’s running a relatively current version, which is nice. It’s also worth mentioning that Lenovo keeps the bloatware to a minimum, so the OS is close to stock Android, and any bloatware present can be deactivated in the settings. What are some of the issues with this tablet?I really have only one complaint about this tablets performance, but it’s a pretty glaring flaw in my opinion. When playing the games mentioned previously, there are points in each game where the tablet outright hangs. My reason for considering this a flaw is because of the tablet specs: 3 GB memory and 8-core processor. I understand that this table is an entry point tablet, but, in my opinion, is should not hang the way that it does. When starting Lords Mobile, it takes between 30 – 60 seconds to load the game. Gameplay is generally smooth, and there aren’t any major problems once the game has started. In Rise of Kings, there is hardly any hanging when starting the game, however, the tablet hangs for a short time when selecting a target and dispatching troops. In Blaze of Battle there is a definite hang when switching between accounts. The only reason that I bring any of this up is because the lag/hang happens at exact times depending on the app, but across apps it’s random. I feel with the amount of memory and the cpu specs, this shouldn’t be as noticeable an issue as it is.Overall, I think this is a good entry level tablet, especially if it’s being used for basic things like checking email, reading e-books, and other activities like social media. I’m sure that an update by Lenovo could fix some of the issues that I mention, but from what I’ve read, Lenovo is notorious for not updating regularly.**** UPDATE ****I’ve made the decision to return this tablet. I gave it some time to see if some of the issues would become less pervasive, but this simply wasn’t the case. Still a good tablet, but for the price I feel it could be better performance-wise.
