Amazing sound performance from such a small unit
I was sceptical about the claims I read in the reviews for this TV Soundbar.
However, as the Soundbar was exactly the right size to fit under my 65 inch TV (the TV stand is angled outwards so not much space) I decided to try it as the price was so reasonable.
The unit was packaged extremely well with foam packing to ensure no damage in transit. The Soundbar is slimline and very unobtrusive when placed under the TV. The subwoofer is small enough to place either behind or to the side of the TV stand. Mine is at the side.
Installation took only a few minutes as the connections are easy to understand. The unit is supplied with an HDMI cable, the power supply, a 3.5mm audio cable, a TOS link (optical) cable, a right angled HDMI adapter (in case your TV is against a wall), a wall bracket and a small remote control. The inclusion of the adapter, audio and TOS link cables shows the manufacturer has really thought about making sure the unit can be used immediately without resorting to ordering extra cables. This is excellent service which other manufacturers should take note of.
The best audio is obtained by using the HDMI ARC or eARC socket (audio return circuit) on the TV to the back of the sound bar. The subwoofer has a generous length of cable which also plugs into the back of the sound bar.
The unit powers up from the remote control which also has buttons to select the audio source (eARC/ARC, optical, Bluetooth, 3.5mm AUX or USB.
Sound performance is absolutely fabulous for the price. The Soundbar audio is very good, much better than the TV’s speakers. Using the Movie sound preset gives very clear upper and midrange from the Soundbar backed up by reasonable bass from the subwoofer. The volume range provided by the Soundbar is exceptional for such a small unit. Bass control is a little limited with just 3 levels and could be better if the steps were spread over 5-6 steps instead. Note that a full 5.1 home cinema system will sound better than this unit, however they cost substantially more and also involve a much greater investment in routing cables and finding suitable places for all of the amp, speakers and subwoofer.
I also tried the Music mode via Bluetooth from a portable audio player. Music sounds very good (a HiFi would be better, but has the same pitfalls as a home cinema system) and can also go very loud. Bluetooth set up is extremely fast.
Overall this Soundbar/Subwoofer set is exceptional value for money and would be a great improvement for anyone who wants a little more sound quality from their TV. Highly recommended.

Insane quality and value for the money!
I was on the market for a nice soundbar for my pc, something to have some good immersion sound for games(surround) and also to be small enough to fit under my monitor.
I tried a few other brands before getting to this one, brands that were in the same price category, like Creative Stage 2.1 soundbar and OXS Thunder lite and they failed miserably! The Creative soundbar lasted half a day and the next day refused to turn back on; also the sound was stereo and nothing else, nothing special, not even close to surround sound. Also after 15 min of no sound the system went to sleep which was super annoying for me.
The OXS Thunder lite again the same story in terms of going to sleep after 15 min and the sound was nothing special, no immersion.
Now, with the Ultimea one was a totally different story! The size of the soundbar is tiny, literally but the sound quality is something extraordinary! I love it! Surround effect which you can feel and the sound overall is amazing. I can’t recommend this product enough!
By the way, unfortunately I have no affiliation and I haven’t been paid to say all this, i just think is got an amazing sound! Also the price is a bargain for what you get.
If you are in the market for a surround soundbar for your pc or a smaller tv you can’t go wrong with this one!

Almost the perfect budget Atmos soundbar.
For a dolby Atmos soundbar at this budget and size is quite impressive, with room filling Base and large volume levels.
After a fair amount of testing I’ve come to the conclusion that the soundbar mid/high frequency speakers are a little flat and underwhelming, this is mostly down to the space constraints.
If you want to improve the product I’d add a toggle switch and add 2 amplified outputs so you can toggle between the internal speakers or external speaker ports; add your own speakers.
Further more the bass and sub bass can be a bit overpowered in comparison to the mid and highs, this could be easily remedied by having a larger number of bass presets or more granular control.
Onto the software functionality.
All the advertised formats worked correctly however there is no form of DTS support which is understandable at this price however it would be a nice addition.
I did have some issue with dolby truehd audio,
I occasionally had audio drop outs that kind of ruined some movies, especially if you are watching 4k blurays as they almost all use truehd as the audio format.
I’m confident most of the issues can be fixed with software updates or a minor product revision.
Build quality, appearance and ease of installation is absolutely spot on, the soundbar is mostly made of metal with nicely done plastic end caps, where one of which houses the soundbar controls.
It’s plug and play with just 3 cables required to start, hdmi cable, 12v barrel jack and bass cable.
Would I recommend this product?
Absolutely, while it has its minor issues, it is the cheapest Atmos enabled soundbar and performs much better then similarly priced non Atmos soundbars and even manages to compete with budget Atmos soundbars from the like of LG and Samsung.
Who would I not recommend this too?
Home cinema builders and blu-ray watchers, as truehd is a bit iffy on this device and it could significantly impact there experience.
The perfect use case; it would be absolutely perfect for streaming devices like the Chromecast with android TV or the firestick, especially for auxiliary tvs and kids bedrooms.
Ultimea have reached out and given me a lifetime warranty on this device, and asked if I’d like to try there upcoming software update for the device.
I will add to my review if things change with the software update.
Update 1:
I upgraded the software from v059 to T098, the resulting update really fixed alot of the baseline issues with the soundbar.
The bass has been reduced slightly and more granular control has been added so you can fine tune the bass levels, the maximum bass level seems to have also been reduced.(just providing more granular control is enough to make me happy) this isnt bad just something to note.
The mids and highs have vastly improved, becoming more full and dynamic, with a much wider sound stage. This is a massive difference compared to how muted and flat they where previously, Which has definitely raised my rating of this soundbar.
They also added Mpcm support and updated various software modules.
I’d rate this product 5/5 for any potential use cases except for home cinema setups.
until the truehd audio dropouts are fixed I can’t recommend this soundbar for any home cinema use cases as a major portion of blurays and 4k blurays use truehd for the audio.
while truehd has an ac3 core for fallback compatability, it’s not really acceptable on a product that advertises truehd support.

Se non hai soldi da perdere ma vuoi comunque ambire ad una buona qualità di suono, questa soundbar non delude affatto! Forma compatta, ma allo stesso tempo suono incredibilmente immersivo. Da provare con contenuti Dolby Atmos per credere. Inoltre – cosa fondamentale – supporto clienti molto reattivo, pronti a fornire supporto personalizzato per qualunque problema. Altamente consigliato!

Arriva completa di tutti gli accessori per una installazione e attivazione senza difficoltà e senza spendere ulteriormente per acquisto di altri accessori.
Imballo e consegna come Amazon sa fare. La soundbar è contenuta in scatola prodotto ben imballata con busta di plastica e polietilene espanso sagomato, quindi ben protetta per un trasporto sicuro.
Il prodotto è costituito da 2 pezzi separati, soundbar e subwoofer, più tutti gli accessori come cavi e alimentatore. La soundbar può essere appesa a muro utilizzando le 2 staffe e i fischer inclusi al di sopra del subwoofer, che va sotto ripiano oppure a pavimento.
Il subwoofer và collegato alla soundbar tramite il cavo predisposto sullo stesso subwoofer già cabalto.
Di recente ho recensito un’altra soundbar ULTIMEA Apollo S40 che aveva più versatilità nell’uso e nell’installazione, gli altoparlanti si potevano accoppiare o disaccoppiare, usandoli come una soundbar oppure come home theater posizionandoli ai lati del tv ma non aveva il subwoofer.
Per questa si è costretti a posizionarla sotto o sopra al tv, quindi la scelta và fatta anche in base alle proprie esigenze di installazione.
Design moderno e di colore nero per qualsiasi tipo di arredamento.
Abbinata a un TV con riproduttori audio non di qualità ne migliora notevolmente l’ascolto sia di musica che di parlato con possibilità di impostazioni a piacere dell’audio secondo quello che si vuole ascoltare e vedere (movies, music, news/night).
La soundbar contiene al suo interno n.2 altoparlanti di nuova concezione con alta sensibilità , mentre il subwoofer ha un altoparlante con membrana con materiale che ne esalta la nitidezza e purezza. L’insieme emette un audio 3D che rappresenta la caratteristica fondamentale della nuova tecnologia Dolby Atmos.
Per quanto riguarda le connessioni con l’esterno abbiamo sul retro della soundbar a cominciare da sx:
– ingresso AUX
– ingresso ottico
– ingresso HDM-eARC
– porta USB type A

Invece sul fronte abbiamo la visualizzazione a LED dello stato del sistema e il ricevitore infrarossi per telecomando
Sul lato sx della soundbar sono presenti i comandi manuali soliti: ON/OFF, volume, cambio ingresso e pairing del bluetooth.
Il telecomando ha bisogno di 2 batterie AAA da 1,5V, ed è utilizzabile per tutte le funzioni possibili e per una gestione della soundbar con controllo remoto invece dell’utilizzo dei pulsanti integrati sul prodotto.
Inoltre la soundbar ha la possibilità di riprodurre audio tramite la ricezione bluetooth da altri dispositivi bluetooth trasmettitori
Il pairing è automatico quando si sceglie bluetooth, occorre solo autorizzare l’accoppiamento scegliendo ULTIMIA Nova S50. L’accoppiamento risulta riuscito quando si sente la voce e i led finiscono di lampeggiare.
Veniamo adesso ai risultati ottenuti dalle prove fatte.
Per prima cosa direi che è molto semplice da usare e predisporre al funzionamento secondo esigenza. L’ho provata i tutti i modi e con tutte le sorgenti di ingresso con risultati soddisfacenti. La riproduzione audio è sufficientemente fedele e accettabile se non si alza il volume a livelli troppo alti, equalizzatore e bassi sono molto personali e dipendono da ciascuno di noi che accentuano più o meno alcune frequenze al posto di altre. Distorsioni assenti e acustica potente, per sostituire l’audio interno della TV va più che bene. Concludendo sono abbastanza soddisfatto anche per un prezzo mediamente basso rispetto alla qualità del prodotto. La consiglio in un ambiente famigliare con stanze di medie dimensioni da 15 a 30 m². Prezzo all’arrivo di circa 100,00â¬, al momento non disponibile.

Ci ho messo un po’ di tempo per provare questo sistema audio per TV 2.1, ovvero dotato di Soundbar e cassa SubWoofer, in quanto avrei dovuto scollegare quella attualmente collegata alla mia SmartTV della Sony, naturalmente proveniente sempre da Amazon, di tutt’altro categoria di prezzo, direi con rapporto di prezzo 5 a 1.
La confezione è piacevole, una valigetta di cartone, ma piuttosto piccola, non immaginavo che la sound bar potesse essere così piccola, per così dire corta, ho anche supposto prima di aprire l’involucro che potesse essere smontata in due parti, ma così non è, è davvero piccola, oltre a questa e la cassa, c’è un telecomando di fattura oltre alle mie aspettative, quindi i cavi di collegamento, ottico, HDMI, audio con jack, l’alimentatore e due staffe per il fissaggio a parete, c’è anche un adattatore a 90° HDMI, il manuale di dimensioni ampie contempla anche l’italiano.
Comunque oggi alla fini ho scollegato la mia SoundBar e ho collegato sia il cavo ottico che quello HDMI Arc a questa sound bar, la cassa a quest’ultima e l’alimentatore inserito nella presa di corrente, mi sono procurato due pile AAA, che non sono fornite nella confezione, per il telecomando e ho acceso il televisore.
Sono rimasto piuttosto sorpreso dal notare l’ampiezza del Volume di questo sistema, non vorrei bestemmiare in chiesa, è effettivamente molto più potente della mia Sony, il fatto poi che qui ci sia anche il subwoofer esterno rende il suono di sicuro molto più avvolgente che non con il mio sistema già installato, la gestione dal telecomando è intuitiva le impostazioni sono molteplici e chiare.
La qualità del suono probabilmente non è “cristallina” come quella del sistema in mio possesso molto più costoso, ma sfido l’utente medio ad accorgersene, anzi direi che questo sceglierebbe se bendato il sistema in oggetto, tra i due in mio possesso, io rimarrò ad utilizzare quello precedente per due motivi, la cassa esterna mi è scomoda, ho fatto tanto per eliminare il precedente sistema Home Theatre 5.1, con casse in giro per il salone e non voglio ritornare ad avere ingombri sul pavimento e poi io he sono un audiofilo dall’orecchio fino percepisco la caratura HI-Fi della SoundBar Sony rispetto a questo, ma ribadisco che anche questo in oggetto non mi dispiace.
Relativamente all’estetica dei due altoparlanti e la qualità dei materiali direi che nel loro piccolo sono piuttosto soddisfacenti, soprattutto la cassa a pavimento, il telecomando ribadisco che merita menzione per la sua dimensione e estetica, oltre che praticità .
In conclusione si tratta di un sistema audio che è andato oltre le mie aspettative, il prezzo al momento della richiesta mi pare di ricordare fosse intorno ai 100 euro, ma attualmente non disponibile, per quanto io il brand ULTIMEA non l’avevo mai sentito nominare prima di avere provato questo prodotto direi che è congruo, la mia valutazione sarà di conseguenza massima.
Ringrazio il programma Amazon Vine che mi ha offerto di provare e usare gratuitamente questo sistema audio compatto e dalle buone prestazioni.
Spero di essere stato di aiuto, non mi sento di consigliare questo prodotto a causa dell’appartenenza a una Casa non molto conosciuta, ma assolutamente nemmeno di sconsigliare, ho allegato un video ma posso garantire che il volume che arriva fino a 32, nel video non è minimamente apprezzabile, ma è assordante e senza distorsioni apprezzabili, al punto da disturbare tutto il condominio e ho dovuto subito abbassare il volume, per dare un giudizio esaustivo dovrei provare dei sistemi di altre case produttrici e nella stessa fascia di prezzo, ma il confronto con un prodotto di altra categoria come anticipato mi ha davvero sorpreso, al momento sto valutando se posso utilizzarlo in abbinamento al mio proiettore per vedere (ascoltare) film con un audio Dolby Atmos.

Il prodotto arriva allâinterno di una scatola in cartone a modi valigetta con una piccola maniglia in plastica che consente di trasportarla facilmente.
Una volta aperto e tirato fuori dalla confezione allâinterno troviamo:

Il prodotto arriva ben imballato, senza alcun tipo di difetto e con tutto ciò di cui abbiamo bisogno per far sì che si possa utilizzare.
MATERIALI
Partendo dai materiali devo dire che mi aspettavo una grandezza diversa invece risultano davvero ben fatti e soprattutto compatti e molto comodi da installare.
I materiali sono davvero ottimi e per il prezzo a cui sono proposti risultano davvero premium.
CONNESSIONE
La connessione avviene tramite tutti i cavi presenti in confezione oppure tramite Bluetooth. Non ho avuto alcun tipo di problematica durante la connessione e sono riuscito a provarlo davvero in pochissimo tempo.
SOUND
Una volta acceso devo dire che la qualità del suono risulta davvero ottimo: alta, con dei bassi eccellenti ed una qualità del suono davvero pulita.
Grazie anche alla possibilità di gestire tramite telecomando le diverse modalità sarà poi scelta vostra a seconda delle vostre esigenze sulla modalità da mettere a seconda di ciò che state riproducendo per poi sentire il suono in maniera diversa.
Devo dire che ho sentito sia il minimo con la presenza di bassi eccellenti sia il massimo a tutto volume con lâaggiunta anche del subwoofer e devo dire che risulta un suono davvero ottimo, senza esagerare e che non disturba affatto nemmeno nel tono più alto.
Nel complesso mi sento di consigliare davvero questo prodotto in quanto ho notato davvero solo aspetti positivi: a partire dal prezzo che seppur in linea piuttosto economica ci garantisce un prodotto veramente valido!
Altro punto a favore sicuramente è la forma non eccessiva, lineare e compatta che ne determina una forte eleganza del prodotto ed infine ma non per importanza, la qualità dellâaudio che sicuramente spicca e soddisfa veramente tanto.
Non conoscevo la marca ma sono rimasto piacevolmente soddisfatto dalla resa che mi ha donato questo prodotto.

Alcune volte succede che su un prodotto si abbiano aspettative piuttosto basse, senza che ci sia un motivo specifico, che poi però vengono stravolte e ribaltate dalla prova sul campo.
Siamo qui per questo, d’altra parte!
Il prodotto arriva in una scatola particolarmente compatta, da fuori quasi non sembra possa contenere la barra e tutto quello che la accompagna, nello specifico:
un subwoofer
ferramenta varia per il montaggio a parete
alimentatore
telecomando (pile non incluse)
un cavo HDMI
un cavo audio ottico
un cavo audio tradizionale con due jack da 3.5
manualistica varia
La configurazione è abbastanza semplice, anche se il più dipende dal TV alla quale colleghiamo il tutto, a quanto sono semplici i menu e a quanto è “intelligente” nel riconoscere il set.
La connessione che a mio avviso rende meglio è quella con cavo HDMI e-Arc, che permette la maggior qualità audio e permette nella maggior parte delle smart TV di gestire accensione, spegnimento e regolazione volume in automatico.
Una volta accesa credo che chiunque possa restare sorpreso dall’audio che esce sia dalla soundbar che dal subwoofer
Suono avvolgente, direzionato nell’ambiente, bassi ricchi e potenti, davvero un suono sorprendente, ovviamente tutto rapportato al costo, modesto, di questo articolo, sia chiaro!
Esistono prodotti da centinaia e centinaia di euro, che ovviamente propongono un suono di qualità superiore, ma questo sistema costa al momento del mio test (agosto settembre 2023) 100 euro, una cifra in questo settore contenuta, e la qualità , in confronto, è davvero molto alta!
Ultimea è un marchio che ho già avuto modo di provare con una altra soundbar e con un proiettore economico, ma questo set 2.1 Dolby Atmos è senz’altro il migliore tra i 3
Lo consiglio a chi cerca un sistema potente e dall’ottimo suono, e si accontenta di un prodotto non per audiofili ma che comunque si difende davvero bene!
