The Stealth 700, like the Stealth 600 is a wireless gaming headset with Bluetooth. However, the Stealth 700 has CrossPlay Dual Transmitter System, Simultaneous Bluetooth, and 60mm Eclipse Dual Drivers among other enhancements.
What is CrossPlay Wireless?
The CrossPlay wireless system uses dual USB transmitters and a single button on the headset, allowing you to be connected to Xbox and PC, and easily switch back and forth between connections without having to move transmitters.

Great sound
Bought for my grandson’s birthday, he loves them. Updating them was easy although I was a bit worried after reading all the negative reviews. After plugging both transmitters into the Xbox one turned green but the Xbox one just flashed red which told me it wasn’t connecting but carried on. The update went to 50% then an error occurred, the App told me to switch off headphones, unplug the transmitters and start again. Again the Xbox transmitter flashed red but again I carried on and this time it was successful. I removed the non Xbox transmitter and we had sound from the headphones. The Xbox transmitter still fluctuates between flashing red and green but no loss of sound through the headphones. Make sure you connect the headphones to your phone through Bluetooth before you do anything else and download the Swarm II App. Great headphones, you won’t be disappointed.

Good build quality A++
They fit snugly, are made with solid materials and are excellent in sound quality. They have the usual Bluetooth connections and come with 2 adaptors one for PC and one for your Xbox. I have had turtle beach headsets in the past and they were appalling in terms of build quality and connection dropping. I must say they have upped their game, these I would highly recommend.

Incredible headset
Amazing headset. I love the fact that it comes with 2 wireless transmitters so I can easily switch between my PS5 and Series X! The sound quality is incredible and can be customised via the swarm app! And the fact I can have notifications from my iPhone read out through the headset whilst gaming is also a nice little feature! Battery life is also incredibly good! I have had this headset 3 weeks and have played around 8/10 hours, 5 days a week and I still havenât had to charge it! Would highly recommend!

Could be more user friendly
Lovely quality headset. Sounds fantastic, no sound latency with the wireless connection and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.However, the software update process is an absolute nightmare. It’ll probably fail multiple times. The second update I had done a good 5 months in, I made the mistake of removing one of the receivers from my PC *AFTER* it said the update had failed as I had basically given up. Basically bricking the headset and took me hours of playing about with the Bluetooth while plugged in for it to actually successfully update and work again (by some absolute miracle I feel). Once you’ve started an update it must be successful otherwise it’ll not function so keep pressing the try again button which seems to be all it needs as the update process seems to be very poorly optimised.

Worst headset to ever own
Worst headset I’ve ever had, I had an Artemis headset before this one, and it lasted me 10 years with 0 issues apart from me changing the battery once and ear muffs a couple of times in 10 whole years. This headset has been nothing but a headache since I bought it, it stops working, turns off by itself even when I set it to never turn off. Also keeps cutting out going distorted and when I tab in and out of games it just shuts off. I can’t even go to the fridge in the next room because it turns itself off, for a wireless headset the range on this thing is garbage.

Brilliant product
You know, I was sceptical at first, reading the reviews and seeing people complaining about the app not working, not being able to update the headset etc, but Iâve had turtle beach products in the past and they have worked very well (I still own 2 separate ones for Xbox and ps) and because they have worked well in the past, I thought Iâd give it a go⦠well first off⦠I wasnât very impressed when the app didnât work, after some research and looking online⦠I found that I had to delete the app and reinstall⦠so I did that, turned the headset on, connected via Bluetooth through the phone, not the app, it doesnât like it that way⦠I then opened the app and it let me connect, great start. I followed the in app instructions, plugged in both dongles and left the headset connected via Bluetooth, everything updated and the headset then worked as I wanted. Thank god because I was about ready to return it as it wasnât working properly, but it just needed updating. Once you get past that, let me tell you⦠the sound quality is brilliant, I only have to have it on about 10-15 on my laptop along with the noise cancelling itâs already 10 times better than my razer headset. Having all the volume and mode functions on the headset is brilliant. I can swap over quick as anything from my console to my phone (which was one advantage I wanted, as well as swapping from my Xbox to my pc to my phone if I really wanted to. That was one selling point for me, having a headset that I can use for 3 different things. Once I got past the app frustrations itâs definitely worth the money and I convinced my friend to get one after I explained the user error for the app. Brilliant quality and fits really nicely around the ears and with glasses too

Worst headset I’ve ever used out of the box.There’s constant faint static in the headphones, the microphone is weak, the range is pathetic (you can’t step two feet away from the room with the dongle before it cuts out).The worst part by far is the random disconnections though. You can be sat right in front of the dongle and every 10-20 minutes the headset will just disconnect on its own and you’ll have to restart it to reconnect it. Sometimes even that doesn’t work and you have to pair it all over again.All of this is consistent with other problems people have had, so for all that is good: do NOT buy this headset!
