A secret steal if you use the app
Got a returned 4-pack for £16. Followed the instructions on the side of the box to pair it with my Echo Pops just by asking Alexa to scan for new devices after putting them in and powering them on. Despite Alexa vocalising that it failed each time, each one came up on the app immediately as this was said. I’m guessing this is why there are so many of these returned. Definitely a confusing issue to have and I can see how it would put off people who don’t use the app on their phone – but it turned into an absolute steal for me, getting fully functional white spectrum smart bulbs for £4 a piece was great. They work just as well as the Philips Hue bulbs I got with my Echos and for a 5th of the price.

Nothing to compare them with but very happy. Itâs great to ask Alexa to switch lights on / off.
I do not need to use the app which is great so once Alexa has found the unit from the app you never have to use it again if you donât want to. The app is free so load them up and then just talk to trusty Alexa.

Once I managed to connect the bulbs which was not easy, the first one was OK but adding more was not so simple. Quality and functionality is very good

If could give 0 i would these have only lasted 5 months all 4 bulbs all becoming intermittently none responsive after barely being used, as i use lamp on a night rather than ceiling lights and is not due to wifi as bought tapo plug and that and cctv cameras are all working fine running on wifi speeds at 300mbps+
