Very capable little device
It does everything you would expect from this device and does it well. I have mine permanently plugged into my tablet which is mounted on stand in my shed. I have three standard USB memory sticks connected at all times with music on one, videos on another and one for transferring data between the tablet and my PC. The OTG switch allows you to charge your device through the micro USB socket attached. The USB ports also allow the connection of keyboards etc. One minor negative point I have is that the lead to connect the adapter to your device is only 5cm long, which means everything plugged in may be hanging from the your devices USB socket. I purchased a 50cm extension lead to get round this. That said, cracking little device for the money.

This was either incompatible or faulty, I cannot tell which.
This didnât work for the intended purpose of which I bought it for so Iâm unsure if itâs a faulty product or just incompatible.For reference: I bought this to built a RetroPi system with a raspberry Pi Zero.I was able to power the Pi but the USB ports did not work.

Using on Atari Flashback to play games from flashdrive. Works perfectly. Will also use for firmware updates when available.Recommend.

USB 1.1, ie about 1MB/s
Low speed USB 1.1 about 1.1MB/s read or write, so a single layer DVD ISOfile would take about an hour to read/write.I also have similar device (SUYAMA; EDIT: Seller TUSITA, but SUYAMA logo on device) which is USB 2.0 and much faster.

I could not use it for an additional external hard drive connection this was due to unrecognizable by the Amazon Fire stick.

Rubbish!
You can’t charge and use usb at same time. Not true OTG. There’s a switch on the side to change it from usb to charge, either one on the other, but not both at the same time. Very misleading seller so don’t waste your money.

ich suchte ein kabel mit dem ich den usb host nutzen kann und gleichzeitig den host (nicht das angeschlossene gerät) laden kann. konkret will ich ein tablet betreiben um musik über einen dac abzuspielen. also das tablet ist permanent mit dem dac verbunden und soll nicht zwischendurch zum laden abgehängt werden müssen.ich dachte das sei eine ganz normale anforderung – weit gefehlt. um es kurz zu machen – mit diesem kabel klappt es bei mir. aber:es bedarf ein weinig experimentierens. verschiedene geräte reagieren unterschiedlich. bei meinem huawei m3 8.4 (nicht lite) kann man den schalter umstellen ohne das etwas passiert, beim lenovo tb 8505f bricht die audioübetragung ab, wenn man von otg auch charge umstellt, beim huawei nicht.booten mit oder ohne verbundenem stecker, schalter in unterschiedlichen stellungen vor dem vebinden des steckers, phantasie ist gefragt….. ;-)im ergebnis (schalterstellung bei huawei egal, bei lenovo otg) zeigt die ladekontrolle des gerätes nichts an, otg funktioniert, der host wird minimal geladen (akku % ändert sich nicht), was pefekt ist, da man einen permanent voll geladen akku vermeiden sollte.und die hub-funktionalität geht auch….

Ho acquistato questo prodotto per usarlo con un tablet Android sia come moltiplicatore di porta che come adattatore. La descrizione del venditore riporta che in modalità “Charge” è possibile sia ricaricare il dispositivo che sfruttare le altre porte usb per connettere altre periferiche ma in realtà non funziona, quando si usa la modalità OTG riconosce le periferie esterne mentre quando si usa la modalità Charge funziona solo come caricatore. Qualità scadente e prezzo esagerato per l’effettivo funzionamento. Dato che mi serviva per collegare un dongle al tablet e caricarlo al tempo stesso (cosa non possibile) ho dovuto fare reso.
