Handy tool, but a little fragile
This is a nice little tripod that can be seriously versatile given that the legs will bend into just about any position. This allows you to not only adjust the height as much as you like, very easily, but also to strap your camera onto just about anything and form a good grip. Fair warning though, it is quite delicate and when you bend the legs about, you do have to do so with a little care. They feel really fragile and sometimes, if you twist it a bit sharply or something, it lets out a bit of a groan which makes me think that you could break this very easily. Despite their apparent flimsy joints, the legs can actually hold a fair bit of weight and pressure and don’t just bend and fold under the weight of a larger phone (I use this with a Note 10+) or DSLR, which I was happy about.Overall, I think at this price it’s really good value for money and a solid little tripod, but if you’re planning on twisting it about a lot, either look elsewhere for something stronger, or just exercise a little care when you bend the joints and you’ll be okay.

I bought one of these ahead of going abroad and managed to use it throughout the holiday without fear of losing it due to its strength. I had this clamped to the back of a speedboat and it didn’t move an inch, i also clamped it to a quad bike through a jungle and again held my phone in place perfectly. Well, that was a disaster! Again, very pretty! Then I nearly took my nails off trying to fit my phone on the holder, then placing it was easy- the legs do what they say. And it wouldnât stay fixed in one position⦠I cba to send it back so lesson learnt – you get what you pay for! ð¤·ð¾ââï¸

I would say ‘does what it says on the tin’ but the remote was missing. I’ve messaged seller & no response. Oh well. The tripod itself is sturdy even when the legs are bent at odd angles.

I’ve been using a foldable plastic phone stand for the best part of 2 years to watch stuff on my phone like Prime Video in bed.Lately, I have been looking at some sort of holder that I could use instead of my stand to be able to tilt the phone in line with my live of vision when I’m lying down.My daughter shed me her phone tripod she been using to record herald playing her guitar. I said I needed one!!!ðððAnyway, this is very sturdy and his onto the phone really well. I also tend to move like an elephant in bedð𤣠So, with the old stand, my phone kept falling over𤪠With this tripod, I can move around was much as I want and the only person getting upset is my lovely wife ðð¤£ð¤£.I really recommend it if you watch TV on your phone like me.
