Brilliant Kit
I’ve retired my main laser printer as I don’t print often and use this instead now even at home due to the form factor. It uses heat to print so normal paper won’t work and you’ll need thermal paper which is slightly more expensive, but you then save on not needing toner/ink so I think it evens out in the long run.The quality of the print is no different to my laser printer for documents. I haven’t tried it for photos but I don’t expect anyone to use this for photos since you’d only get a black and white print anyway.

Printer didn’t work properly
I’m really dissapointed with this printer. I couldn’t install the software on my phone but my husband did. However he was unable to llpront anything. So he installed the software on his laptop. This time it printed but the whole page came up black! We put the device on charge and followed instructions. Tried it a few times and the pages came out black again. Giving this back. Sorry this is only getting one star.

Initial paper feed issue sorted – now works a dream
Had a bumpy start as there was an issue with paper feed which I finally cured after removing the paper feed guides which had gone out of line. Once this was sorted the printer works perfectly. Easy to feed through a 100 x 150mm (6×4â) shipping label for postage labels. I experience in-store label printers are often out of action whereas now I can print my own label in the car on the move without worrying about how to power a printer. Weighs next to nothing and is very portable.

Convenient and Compact Printer for Travel
This mini thermal printer is perfect for travel and home use lightweight and easy to connect via Bluetooth to my phone and laptop. Print quality is good for documents and receipts with clear text at 300dpi. Setup was straightforward.

Amazon Vine Review.I was sent this product in exchange for an honest review. The printer itself is great and works well. I’ve got a few smaller thermal printers which I use for stickers so I am not new it it. The only downside with using thermal printers is the cost of the paper.Overall the printer is great, works well and is easy to use and set up. Print quality is really good as well. Only con is the cost of the paper compared to normal copier paper.

Good little printer
My decade old WiFi / Bluetooth Canon laser printer died recently, and given we had started to be kinder to the environment, including reducing our print, we decided not to replace the printer. However, no sooner did we make that decision, did the need to print start to arise – printing off timetables, fixtures etc for the kids. We saw this thermal printer and decided to give it a go.Simple to set up (most of our printing comes from our iOS devices) and was ready to go within minutes. Connectivity is stable and print jobs get transmitted without issues. Came with a few sheets of paper, which allows for instantaneous printing. However, 100 sheets costs c£10. When you calculate thermal paper cost vs normal a4 plus ink, itâs not a million miles away in cost. However, I believe you are being kinder to the environment by not going through ink consumables.The unit seems to be well made, even though itâs diminutive. I like how compact it is, which is great for mobility – allowing me to move it around the house for each family members usage. Iâve not needed to take it on work trips, but would be an option if I needed to as itâs small and lightweight.Currently, you can get this unit for c£66 including 40% off. Thatâs just about palatable and right for such a unit. Recommended.

Ich habe mir den iDPRT tragbaren Thermodrucker für den Heimgebrauch gekauft, aber leider war die Enttäuschung groÃ. Obwohl das Gerät als kompatibel mit iOS, Android und PC beworben wird, war die Verbindung über Bluetooth mit meinem iPhone äuÃerst instabil und oft gar nicht möglich. Auch die Verbindung mit dem PC war umständlich und fehleranfällig. Der Drucker verliert häufig die Verbindung und der Druckvorgang bricht ab. Die Druckqualität bei 300 DPI ist enttäuschend â Texte wirken unscharf und Bilder sind pixelig. Für ein Gerät, das als einfach zu bedienen beschrieben wird, ist die Einrichtung viel zu kompliziert. Für den Preis hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Leider kann ich dieses Gerät nicht empfehlen.

Ich bin wirklich positiv überrascht vom iDPRT Mini Thermodrucker. Trotz seiner kompakten GröÃe liefert er eine sehr gute Druckqualität mit 300 DPI â Texte und einfache Grafiken sind gestochen scharf. Ideal für Etiketten, Quittungen oder kleine Notizen unterwegs.Die Verbindung per Bluetooth klappt schnell und zuverlässig, die App ist einfach zu bedienen. Auch der Akku hält lange durch â perfekt für den mobilen Einsatz.Kleiner Hinweis: Es wird spezielles Thermopapier benötigt, aber das ist bei dieser Drucktechnologie ganz normal.Fazit: Super praktischer Helfer für unterwegs

Der Thermodrucker hat mich mit seiner kompakten GröÃe und einfachen Handhabung überzeugt. Er lässt sich problemlos per Bluetooth mit Smartphone oder Tablet verbinden, wobei die App zwar nicht perfekt, aber funktional genug ist, um einfache Dokumente zuverlässig zu drucken. Die Druckqualität bei Texten ist für ein Gerät dieser GröÃe absolut in Ordnung – für Fotos ist er natürlich nicht gedacht. Praktisch ist, dass man kein teures Verbrauchsmaterial wie Tinte braucht, sondern lediglich Thermopapier. Der Akku hält ausreichend lange durch und das Gerät ist angenehm leicht, was es zum idealen Begleiter fürs mobile Arbeiten macht. Die Einrichtung am PC funktioniert zwar nur per USB, lief bei mir aber problemlos. Wer ein kompaktes Gerät für einfache Druckaufgaben sucht, wird hier zufrieden sein. Für den Preis eine lohnenswerte Anschaffung.
