I bought 2 of these bulbs. They are quite impressive.But one of them has now failed after 10 months.I complained to the vendor and they issues a refund.Good customer service.

Short lifespan
The bulb worked perfectly well, I connected it up to my Calex app quite easily.The problem is, it has already gone. This is an incredibly short life for the price of the bulb. If my next smart bulb lasts no longer than this one I’ll go back to using my wall switch.

Exquisite lighting
In layman’s terms this bulb enables you to control your lighting via your smart phone, obviously you will be required to purchase additional bulbs if you wish to light differing areas of the home, but the additional options will include the capacity to change colour, brightness, routines and on/off control, this item is a 5w 50w equivalent bulb.The bulb is somewhat exquisite, it’s a beautiful example of what modern lighting should be, whilst not deviating from it’s roots enough to initiate a refusal to implement that change, after all it still identifies as a bulb.You will be required to download an app, i utilised the Smart Life app which was easy to setup and implement, but it also works with Tuya, alexa, google assistant or apple home apparently.The lighting options are numerous 2700k to 6500k dimmable (utilising app only as not dimmer switch compatible),16 million colours with warm white to cool white, the ability to control your smart lights wherever you are and set up routines with a smartphone.The bulb whilst initially appearing expensive, appears less so when you delve deeper into what it can actually achieve and what it can replace, no timing switches required for the lamp it’s installed in if you utilise your smart phone for example.This is a great item that has aâ 25000 hours lifespan and is worthy of the upgrade.

Great bulb and well made. Looks great. Works fine with Smart life and thus Google etc. It is NOT SmartThings compatible though so if you have SmartThings using Tuya, this bulb won’t show up. Given the price of this bulb if expected better compatibility.

This is a screw in bulb
Wow a lightbulb you can control with your mobile, if i hadn’t have tried this myself i wouldn’t have believed it.Obviosly you need a good wifi connection, they suggest having the bulb in close proximity to your hub, you wil also need a blue tooth device phone/tablet to control the light, works on both android and apple.Simply screw the bulb in, download the app and enjoy the rainbow of lights,Great value for money and a real talking point , personally i wouldn’t want this light in every room but it’s perfect in my conservatory and a great mood light
