Good wide angle cam for ESP32 CAM module
Works perfectly with my ESP32 CAM.

Not impressed
Not massively impressed. I attached 1 of these new lenses to my esp32 that I have set up on my printer and initially it worked well but within 24hrs it had stopped working. I swapped it for the 2nd one in the pack and itâs back up and running again now but I donât know how long for. The problem with the first one may have been that because of the length of the cable I had to fold (not completely folded, more of a curve) it to get it into the enclosure. I did message the seller first and ask if folding the cable was ok and they said it was, though I have since found some information online saying not to do it so who knows which is right.Ideally Iâd like one of these âfisheyeâ 160° (ish) lenses but with a short cable. Anyway, Iâll see how this 2nd one goes

Beware of dead pixels
They’re okay when they work (though not as wide as advertised) – but both of the cameras in one of the packs I bought had dead pixels, which were evident in low light situations.

Good cameras, but not 160 degree
Well not the ones I received which were 120 degrees when measured. They still went into the project but I was very disappointed and it made me doubt the other products advertised using the same stock picture. I actually haven’t found any genuine 160 degree OV2640 cameras.

Good wide angle camera for esp32.
No sign of overheating with good quality wide angle image, much better than some of the cameras supplied with ESP32 boards many of which overheat very quickly.

Die diymore 2 Stücke 2640 Kamera Module mit 160° Weitwinkelobjektiv und 2 Megapixel Sensor bieten eine beeindruckende Bildqualität und einen weiten Sichtwinkel. Allerdings ist die Stromaufnahme der Module ziemlich hoch, was zu Ãberhitzungsproblemen und instabiler Leistung führen kann. Für Projekte, die nicht auf eine konstant hohe Leistung angewiesen sind, könnten diese Module geeignet sein, aber die hohe Stromaufnahme sollte berücksichtigt werden. Ein gutes Produkt, aber mit Einschränkungen.
