Great power supply – highly recommended.
Good power supply for my new PC, works perfectly, great quality, and fits well, looks clean and well made. Highly recommendede. Has great power saving features, it’s so quiet you can’t really hear it. It was very easy to install and overall I’m very happy with the purchase, highly recommended.

Purchase 2 of these, very efficient, very quiet.
I think the quality of the RM850x is excellent, done 2 builds with these using a Ryzen 5950x and a 5700x3d and a RTX 4060, the wattage draw is minimal in idle mode, it uses the same or less than a old HP laptop I ditched when I am doing non intensive work. Is super quiet. The supplied cabling is great and makes undertaking a build super easy. I would always pay a bit extra to install these over something else.

Great Upgrade
Pros:
Power Capacity: With its 1000 Watt capacity, the RM1000x offers more than enough power to handle high-end components like the RX 7900 XTX graphics card and other power-hungry components. This ensures stable and efficient power delivery even during demanding tasks or gaming sessions.
Efficiency: The 80 PLUS Gold certification indicates that the power supply is highly efficient, converting more power from the wall outlet into usable power for your PC components. This can help reduce electricity costs and waste heat, keeping your system running cooler.
Fully Modular Design: The fully modular design allows you to connect only the cables you need, minimizing cable clutter inside your case. This not only improves airflow but also makes cable management easier during the build process.
Build Quality: Corsair is well-known for producing high-quality PC components, and the RM1000x is no exception. The power supply is built with premium components, which contribute to its overall reliability and longevity.
Quiet Operation: The RM1000x features a Zero RPM fan mode, which means the fan won’t spin at low to moderate loads, resulting in quieter operation. This is especially beneficial during light computing tasks or when the system is idle.
Overcurrent and Overvoltage Protection: Corsair equips the RM1000x with multiple safety features, such as overcurrent and overvoltage protection, to safeguard your components against power fluctuations and potential damage.
Cons:
Price: The RM1000x is positioned as a high-end power supply, and the fully modular design and high wattage capacity can make it relatively expensive compared to lower-end models. However, the extra cost is often justified by the added benefits and build quality.
Overkill for Some Setups: Unless you are running a very power-hungry system with multiple high-end components or are planning to upgrade further in the future, the 1000 Watt capacity might be overkill for some users. A lower wattage model could be more cost-effective for more modest setups.
Overall, the Corsair RM1000x is an excellent choice for enthusiasts and gamers who demand a robust, high-performance power supply to support their powerful components. It’s efficient, reliable, and has a modular design, making it a top-tier option for those willing to invest in quality hardware. However, if you don’t require the full 1000 Watt capacity, you might consider looking at other options within Corsair’s lineup that suit your specific power needs and budget.

Corsair RM750x – Great PSU!
Iâve been using the Corsair RM750x, and itâs been fantastic for my gaming rig. Itâs powerful enough to handle my setup with ease, and the 80 PLUS Gold efficiency keeps everything running cool and quiet. The fan barely makes any noise and at low and medium loads the cooling fan switches off entirely for near-silent operation.
The fully modular cables make my build super clean and easy to manage, with no extra clutter. Plus, the build quality feels really solid. Iâve had zero issues with stability, and the 10-year warranty is a nice bonus.
If you need a reliable, efficient power supply, I highly recommend the RM750x!

Great PSU so now my PC lives again!
My need was VERY specific due to the type of motherboard. This worked well, and suits my case perfectly. I REALLY like that you only have the cables you need and don’t have a spaghetti to deal with of spare not required loose ends.
Only very minor complaint is the previous PSU had an earthing strap which prevented a switch off thump from the permanently plugged in audio amplifier. Now I get the thump every time. Minor annoyance, could easily be included in the design.
Could probably have easier to follow instructions!
I also love the 10 year warranty – I thoroughly recommend the product.

RMX 1000 2024 Model
I’m extremely happy with this power supply. Installation was a breeze and I have absolutely no coil whine. The cables are of reasonable quality and the connectors fit perfectly. It’s silent in operation I can’t even hear the fan spinning. A great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

Upgraded from my 750x from a few years back since I got myself a new card, with this there is no more green screen from my card.
Good futureproofing if I want to get an more intensive CPU and GPU in the future, mid end to high end needs at least 850W of power in the future and my 750W PSU is out of breathe so it is definitely a good upgrade 😀
