Not as easy to setup as they say
I bought two of these having seen them on YouTube. The first one was a headache to do and despite following instructions I ended up with a bulb that would flash rapidly non stop. Tried the second bulb, this time within two feet of the router, just in case that was the problem… It installed and was found by alexa but not quite in the way as per the instructions or videos. Managed to reset the first bulb after 45 minutes and set this one up next to the router as well. Then put them in the desired rooms. It took them about 8 minutes to reconnect to the WiFi and start working. And no these aren’t my first smart devices. Just be warned you may need some patience when setting these up. Oh and to read the instructions you’ll need your magnifying glass again. This time the print is too small and too pale to see with the naked eye.

3 years of frequent issues.
I bought these 3 years ago and it was a hell to work with.Their app is horrible. It looses the track of the bulb constantly saying they cannot be reached.Sometimes the app itself refuses to work. Wasn’t frequent, but it did happen a couple of times.As this was a very open standard bulbs, I tried parring them with my HA system and it does not work. The bulbs work in their own mesh network that is blocking any access to multiple bulbs at the same time. I read in forums this was not an issue before.My both bulbs started mulfunctioning almost at the same time this week. One is constantly loosing connection to wifi and another one cannot work in White color, only in the lowest “Warm Cold” setting.Just avoid this as it will be a headache to work with.

This product worked but others of theirs didn’t
The bulb worked fine but I also got Universal Remote Pro 4 and couldn’t get that connected to the Internet. I tried everything from advice everywhere but no success. I tried contacting Broadlink twice but no response!!!

Constantly turning on and off or just not responding
Really surprised to how buggy this bulb is that it feels like it was a complete waste of money. It’s constantly fading off and back on. Sometimes constantly, sometimes now and then. It’s very annoying. Also very rarely responds to Google or it’s own app by broadlink. Really disappointed as had hoped to include smart lights into my broadlink remote setup but will be looking elsewhere.

Hard to connect to network. Then after a few days everytime I changed to cool white it just switches off. Couple days later not work at all

Nos costó instalarla porqué las instrucciones no vienen en español… pero al final buscamos una app y pudimos ir siguiendo los pasos. Es muy chula y funciona muy bien

premetto che me la cavo con la tecnologia e quindi non ho avuto alcun problema, ma mi è sembrato che la configurazione fosse molto facile e alla portata di (quasi) chiunque. ovviamente un minimo di dimestichezza con queste cose bisogna averle. per il resto va alla grande.si possono scegliere tutti i colori che si vogliono e si può facilmente creare l’ambiente cromatico che si desidera. inoltre l’ho collegato ad alexa, per cui mi basta dire a lei che tonalità di colore voglio e lei esegue. per alcune tonalità , ovviamente, bisogna passare per l’app broadlink ma it’s not a big deal. sono davvero soddisfatto.
