When the front female 3.5mm audiojack on my desktop broke, I was left plugging my headphones in to the rear jack. This would get very fiddly as it’s below my desk – especially if I then decided to use speakers (i’d have to go crawl beneath my desk and switch them out).Enter the ugreen audio cable extension. At 2M it’s a very good length cable to allow for suitable cable management and allows you to, without leaving your chair, switch your audio outputs from different headphones, to speakers, or to even another external source.This would be ideal in situations where you have extravagant audio setups for a room, but I have enjoyed using it for my own desktop.I have noticed no dip in sound quality whilst using it over plugging my headset in directly. It’s cable is akin to that of a video game controller and so it fairly durable.Fantastic product all-round.

Great cable for a great price
I got this yesterday and was pleased straight out of the amazon box, nice box and well presented nicely coiled inside a sealed bag, Cable is thicker than i thought it might be and is well made. Socket and plug look sturdy enough and and only slight annoyance is the cable want to curl up a bit but no biggy. They work very well had a good listening session on them last night and not short and good length. I give 4 almost a 5

Great for use with In-Ear Monitor as extension
I have got this just to extend the wire of In-Ear Monitors, otherwise it’s hard to get the In-Ear Monitor wire to go behind the back (As they’re intended to be used)First of all, there’s no difference in sound quality, well not to what I have noticed anyway. You can use an extension cable for your wires and audio devices and it won’t do very much to the sound quality. These wires aren’t supposed to degrade sound quality. They extend the wire, these do not compromise the sound quality at all.If I didn’t have this wire for my In-Ear Monitors, I would have had to sit on my desk, with my head constantly forward to try and keep the wire from pulling out. This wire has saved my day as an extension cable and I am very happy about it. I understand In-Ear Monitor wires are supposed to be short, so I am not really complaining about that, have to extend the wire yourself, so that’s when I came across this.This wire does not have any noise, as long as you are not moving it around (Which I am not) I am simply running it to the back of my PC, running along the floor but hidden, then up to the chair where the In-Ear Monitor wire then goes behind my back.This has been a great investment. I am very happy with this product and I am going to use it for a long time to come and will definitely buy more when I need a new one.

Good quality But seemed to break quickly
Broke in the span of a year, I use this extender so my sound output can reach the back jack (as my front is broken). IT broke in a way where it only works in one ear when fully plugged and the other when half plugged in.

I used this inside an arcade machine I had built so that I could hook up external speakers to it. This cable worked exactly as advertised.Audio connection seems solid; wiggling the cable does not make the sound cut out.
