Great IR remote that could be better with HA support
Works as advertised, very reasonable cost, easy to install with Smart Life App. This device is also different from other other ones using the Tuya plaform in a way that when you select a temperature setting for the Air conditioner, it does indeed set the temperature to that setting, probably it has two way communication with appliances. At least i tested it with Samsung AC. Kudos for that Cenkit. The major drawback for me was the lack of support of this device in Home Assistant, otherwise I might have rated it at a flat five. I was about to purchase four more, one for each room, but has decided not to because of the lack of support with Home Assistant (No entity is detected), which means the device cannot be integrated with the rest of home automation devices using one of the most popular Home Automation solutions (Home Assistant). The manufacturers should consider to push an update that makes this device compatible with HA. I cannot wait for the update that will make this device supported by Home Assistant.

Great little blaster
What an amazing little device. Purchased primarily to control my Dyson fan, but also able to control my TV & sound bar. It works well with Home Assistant, but to use most devices, you’ll need to create “tap to run” automations in the Tuya app, which will then be synced to Home Assistant as “scenes”. Once you’ve done this, it works perfectly. Incredible value!

Cheap and does it’s job
It works well with the alexa integration, you can program the signal by pointing your remote towards it, however note that you need to create a tap to run scene in smart life for each individual button for it to be available in the alexa app to control. I’m very happy as it responds very quickly through alexa. However, for me a problem is that there is constantly a red/white light coming from the blaster, it’s a little distracting at night, I would have thought that the light should only shine when you ask the ir remote to do something, but it’s not too bright… But overall it does it’s function, I personally use it to control a portable air conditioner through alexa as it is more convenient to use than the old looking remote that you get with it. So far it has not caused any problems with not sending signals, you need to just make sure that it’s aimed at your device, and stick it with double sided tape so that nobody moves it.

Takes a while to figure it out .. because human stupid
Stupid human, smart machine problem s .. the learning function is very intelligent, but takes a bit to figure out, the two machines I wanted to work weren’t on the list of ir remote s .. learning function took me a bit of time on first item to figure out , on second item no problem.. besides that , full Google and Alexa control from phone or fire stick so woros perfectly ð¤

Very unreliable.
I guess for the price we can’t expect that much. But I’ll have to find a replacement for this device. It’s just way too unreliable. For £11 it’s quite fun. You can program it and it will work some of the time. The problem is when you fist star sending commands to it it often doesn’t work. It seems to need to wake up or something.

Smart Life Scenes Can Be Used In Home Assistant
Created a few scenes in the smart life app, reloaded HA so the scenes appeared in my Tuya intergration, created automations in HA, used the Tuya scenes to switch to correct HDMI ports on HDMI switch when device is switched on and off/unavailable. WOrks like a dream, total time form unboxing, learning the switch IR remote buttons, creating scenes and automations, 15 minutes. Recommended for anyone wanting to use a ir blaster with Hoem Assistant.

I was very skeptical about this product for the price. I have a 90 year old mother who struggles with her TV. I purchased this and installed it at her home. When she has issues my brother and I can control it and we live hundreds of miles away. Great little product!!This was very easy to setup and use. Great value for the money.

Alte IR Geräte lassen sich nach Einrichtung bequem per Alexa und Co steuern. Lautstärke um 10 Einheiten hoch/runter? Kein Problem! Beim Fernseher direkt zwischen FireTV/BluRay/Satellit wechseln? Easy! Selbst das Auswählen der einzelnen Sender über deren Name ist prinzipiell möglich.Sobald alles eingerichtet ist, kann entweder alles per Handy oder per Smart Assistant gesteuert werden, letzteres aber verbunden mit weiteren Einstellungen dort.Die Abdeckung und Leistung ist stark genug, dass Geräte auch ohne direkte Sichtlinie zuverlässig funktionieren.Für den Preis absolut zu empfehlen. Die klassischen Fernbedienungen wandern dank dieses Geräts jetzt erstmal in den Schrank.

Fait le job. Un peu plus difficile à configurer qu’un de ses concurrents (modèle “carré”) malgré la même application Smart Life. Le mode apprentissage IR pour des télécommandes moins classiques est moins efficace. Mais une fois configuré, l’article est stable et fait bien son travail. Connecteur d’alimentation USB C actuel (mieux que son concurrent “carré”).
