Fantastic build quality, versatile and light
This is a really well made and well thought out magnetic tripod. It can be set up in a variety of ways as a standalone tripod, adapting to different situations – it would be good as a stand for viewing films or doing work, as well as the obvious uses you could put it to for photography vlogging etc. From the advert, I can see that you can even hang it off a wall/board, although I am not sure I would want to hang a £1000 phone like that! That said, the magnet is reassuringly strong and there is no sense that the phone will detach. There are options to mount this tripod on a large, traditional tripod or on a cold shoe, so it really is the gift that keeps giving. It folds up nicely to keep in a bag or pocket and this respect is really well thought out. I think the price matches the quality and usefulness of the item – it is extremely well made and will last for years, as well as having genuine utility.
