JBL SoundBar 2.0 All-in-One MK2 Television Speaker for Home Entertainment Sound System, Sleek and Compact Design with JBL Surround Sound, Black

As always, JBL deliver excellent quality in both build and sound.
I got this to replace my old 5.1 system, I did not think it would be anywhere near as good but I did not want to spend a fortune this time around. WOW, once set-up properly this thing delivers. A full sound profile with a “surround sound” that actually immerses you in what you are doing/watching. I have been a long time fan of JBL products and once again they have impressed me. The set-up is easy and the sound quality is superb and the bass can, at times, actually be a little much. I never thought I would say that about a sound bar without a standalone subwoofer. I highly recommed this soundbar.

I purchased a damaged carton product and saved about £30.
The bar appears undamaged but it’s a bit temperamental in being active and I’m wondering if there’s an internal problem and I should return it? Not having had one, I don’t know what to expect. Otherwise the sound is good and I’m happy with it.

Disappointing somehow stopped working
It was a few weeks before the item came out of the box as we were decorating. When all ready the speaker was connected and I was happy with the sound and set up.
Unfortunately the product was temperamental in the on/off button and also on the remote.
It’s now stopped working, out of return period and I have no audio.
Obviously I can’t recommend the product.
Trying to get product support is a circular culdesac and so I can find a method to get repair.
Seeing as I can’t access any refund or repair the item gets 0 points and I can only recommend you stay clear of this purchase

Cooild have been better
This JBL 300 BAR gives plenty bass even without a separated subwoofer.
Bad Points:
It lacks the Clear Voice setting which every soundbar should have, so when the action is at loud level it drowns the actors dialogue, so you need to turn the BASS down to 2 or even 1 to balance that… but what is the point of having bass then…
Also you cannot add any wireless subwoofer or speakers to this soundbar.
It does not have sound presets at all like other soundbars (Music, Movies, etc) but you get an equalizer in the JBL app where you can change things.
Also no upward firing speakers in this one, unfortunately, for a true dolby spatial experience.
Also no DTS support. Not true Dolby Atmos.
Good points:
Music sounds amazing on this soundbar, it has a very nice integration with Spotify Connect and Wifi and Ethernet and Bluetooth.
I decided to keep it as for my small bedroom should suffice and as the next up quality soundbars are priced about £200 more so it wasn’t an option for me.

Je viens de recevoir la barre de son et elle fonctionne très bien sur mon téléviseur Sony Bava via Hdmi. Heureusement que j’avais un adaptateur pour prise électrique UK -> FR car le produit n’est pas livré avec une fiche modèle français (voir la photo).

The product is itself nice & the base is great but i received the soundbar damaged which was a bit disappointing.

For my small front room and cheap television, it provides excellent sound. It was a little tricky to find the menu on the television to change the sound source from the TV speakers to the soundbar, but I got there as it didn’t pick it up automatically which more modern TV’s might well do.
I did a little research online about this soundbar and it was all very positive and for the price, it’s an absolute bargain. I highly recommend.
